About us: Absinthe is building the most sophisticated gamification engine for crypto-native incentive programs. Since 2022, our products have reached 50M+ visits and 2M+ active users. We’re a 10 person, well-funded team shipping fast.
The problem we’re solving: Tracking per-user activity across DeFi protocols sounds simple but is surprisingly hard. Want to know how long someone held an LP position, or which users provided liquidity for more than 30 days? That data is on-chain but can’t be efficiently queried today.
We built an indexing framework that turns protocol events into time-weighted balances and point-in-time actions. Adapters map protocol-specific semantics (Uniswap ≠ Aave ≠ Morpho) into a unified model. The engine handles state, TWAP pricing, and exporting data anywhere. With ~100 lines of adapter code, you can track user balances and contributions at a fidelity no one else supports.
Why it matters: This infrastructure underpins analytics, loyalty, and incentive programs across Web3. We see the Absinthe Adapter Library becoming the default developer layer for embedded finance.
The role: We’re hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to own features end-to-end schema design, wiring GraphQL, polished frontends, and deployment. Our stack: Next.js, Hasura, dbt, MotherDuck/DuckDB, GraphQL, and in-house Web3 indexing. See open positions here: absinthe.network/careers#open-positions
Get involved: - Explore product functionalities at: https://guides.absinthe.network
- Explore the Adapter Library docs: https://docs.absinthe.network/
- Join our Slack community to hack on adapters and connect with the team: https://join.slack.com/t/absinthecommunity/shared_invite/zt-...
Job Requirements: - Provision and manage bare metal servers

- Deep Linux/Unix systems administration
- Strong scripting abilities (Bash, Python)
- Proficient in Ansible for configuration management
- Knowledge of distributed systems and high availability design
- Docker experience with legacy system upgrades
- Security-focused server management approach

We all know that healthcare is broken. In large part, this is because too much quality, pricing, and access data has been hidden from view, and there are too many intermediaries creating complexity between consumers and the care they need. At Jupiter, we are creating a more direct, flexible, and responsive healthcare system that better serves working-age Americans.
Our triple aim: Improve your health, improve your financials, and make it convenient and easy.
We have built a proprietary dataset of over 12 million direct pay rates across 40,000 providers, covering all types of sites of care in the US, from hospitals, surgery centers, imaging, diagnostics, specialists, primary care, urgent care, virtual care, physical therapy, dental, and vision.
We are now building out our consumer search product which we aim to scale up rapidly in 2026.
We are looking for a Founding Engineer energized by our mission and eager to be part of the founding team at a startup tackling a massive market.

Spruce lets users control their data across the web. Instead of users logging into platforms, we believe platforms should request to access data vaults controlled by users.
The demand for trusted digital ID is accelerating as AI deepfakes begin to destroy most of the ways we use to verify identity today. How private or secure is it to hold your driver's license or passport up to a webcam to get a bank account? Was it ever private or secure? Stable diffusion can break so much of this already. Society will need trusted digital IDs, and our mission is to allow them to be controlled by individuals, with safeguards to prevent descents into surveillance states and checkpoint societies.
We are the main implementers of category-defining initiatives such as the digital ID program for the California DMV, and the verifiable digital credentials program in Utah. We are private sector participants in NIST's National Cyber Security of Excellence initiative for privacy-preserving digital ID.
Today, we are hiring highly capable engineers who care about making a real impact in improving public services, digital autonomy, and user privacy for the world. We work closely with public sector agencies, and everyone on our team has a high regard for those in the public service. We have a strong engineering culture. We are not a SaaS or AI company, and our roles are not for the faint of heart. You will be expected to work hard and learn a lot in this role.
Our engineers are incredibly ambitious. On any given day, they may write great Rust/C#/TypeScript, deal with mainframe dumps, read policy documents, respond to technical RFIs/RFPs, manage on-prem environments, implement new NFC + Bluetooth protocols in Swift/Kotlin, create CI/CD processes that enforce W3C accessibility guidelines and i18n requirements, rewrite lost specs from disassembled binaries, and design new protections for public key infrastructure. It is a team effort, and people with T-shirt shaped skills are able to collaborate and learn a ton from each other every day.
The potential impact of this work cannot be understated, and this is not the right job for you if you want to "join a cool AI startup" and make a fast exit. However, if you care about our mission, then you will have the opportunity to make meaningful outcomes for society that will make you feel proud.
See our roles here: https://jobs.lever.co/sprucesystems/
If you feel very strongly about what we do, please email me directly with your reasons and resume at wayne AT spruceid.com.
KSC Trading is a propietary algorithmic trading firm founded in 2020. The company creates software to engage in automated trading in sports and prediction markets. We build Measurement While Drilling (MWD) equipment — and we love it. That passion helped us capture the majority of the North American oil & gas market, and now it’s fueling our geothermal innovation, building underground navigation systems for the next generation of clean energy.
We’re now looking for a Data Wrangler to help us make smarter, faster decisions with our data. This role blends data engineering and data science: wrangling quirky file formats, structuring messy datasets, and turning it all into live tools that guide company strategy. Starts part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time, career-defining role. What you’ll do
Partner with the CEO + stakeholders to translate business needs into pipelines, dashboards, and tools. Build ETL pipelines, write parsers for proprietary formats, and maintain relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL). Create interactive dashboards/apps with Dash, Streamlit, or similar (we avoid Tableau/Excel hell). Deliver insights via live web apps where data isn’t static — it’s explorable. Tech we use Python, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), S3, modal.com. Bonus: React/web dev experience to shape customer-facing real-time tools. Why you’ll like it here You’ll own projects end-to-end, avoid over-engineering (no Kubernetes, no Airflow — just the right tools), and directly influence decisions. As our company and data needs grow, so does your role. If this sounds fun, email ken@erdosmiller.com with your background and what excites you about wrangling data.
PostHog helps engineers build better products by combining product analytics, feature flags, session replay, a data warehouse, CDP and many more.
* we have a public handbook (posthog.com/handbook) if you want to learn how we work, pay and more in complete detail.
* we are growing through more autonomy and transparency not through process.
* we have a ton of scale and a bunch of super interesting technical problems to solve
* we're building 20 more products over the next couple of years, so you could end up building one of those
* we need: product engineers, developer who loves writing and a developer who can do marketing, backend engineers, AI product engineers, technical account managers and technical customer success managers.

Bubblehouse is a fast-growing custom loyalty platform, tripling the revenue each year. Headquartered in NYC, the entire team is fully remote and spread across the globe. We power loyalty programs for brands like American Girl and Old Spice.
We’re expanding our lean team of extremely experienced developers. Companies are switching from other platforms thanks to the customizations and flexibility that we offer, enabled by our pace and technical excellence, which we intend to keep for years to come.
We run on Golang and use custom data storage on top of local key-value stores, colocating the storage and compute on dedicated hardware servers, and reading data directly from mmap’ed pages of the database. Ever came across HN saying that one can run Twitter on a single machine these days? We’re doing that in production.
Zero lines of React, almost zero third-party dependencies (carefully vetted), every line of JavaScript manually written with respect and understanding of the web platform. We render HTML server-side like it’s 2005.
Looking for:
1. Top to bottom understanding of the software stack, from the modern-ish web platform to CPU caches.
2. Thinking and problem solving outside the box. (We don’t _always_ go for unconventional solutions, but we do it often enough to require a person who can do justice considering the entire problem space at every step.)
3. Demonstrated ability and hunger to learn new things quickly. (Every month we’re doing things we have never done before.)
4. Broad experience across multiple programming paradigms, platforms and software stacks.
5. Demonstrated care for the software craftsmanship (which can take many forms).
6. Great spoken English, and ability to communicate 9am to noon in New York time zone.
We give you a literally fast-paced environment (with features delivered in days) where you need to solve very challenging problems with practical advanced technology, take on entrenched market leaders, and help entrepreneurs across small and large businesses delight their fans.
Send a plain text cover letter to andrey+hiring@bubblehouse.com. Help us see how you stand out. Summarize your experience. Link to 1–5 impressive things you’ve built and proud of, link to where we can see some of your code, include your portfolio/CV, describe the platforms and stacks you’re an expert in. How did you start programming? What are you most passionate about in technology? What are the most interesting or weird things you’ve done? What are your strongest held professional opinions? Please make your email easy to read, we’ll appreciate that.
(If you have applied before, no need to re-apply, we’ll reach out.)

Oils is our upgrade path from bash to a better language and runtime.
We’ve been awarded a 4th grant from https://nlnet.nl, and our focus is to show that OSH can be the ONLY shell on a Unix system, which is hard
It looks like we will reach this goal! Other than me, there are 4 people working PART TIME on this, and we can use more help.
If you like hunting down difficult bugs, and are skilled at Unix and Python, this could be a good fit.
Most bugs are too hard for 1 person to fix by themselves, so communication is important. And writing good test cases is important.
We’re also paying people to do polished writing, since we'd like to spread the word
Starting from 131, we’re down to 41 disagreements between OSH and sh/ash/bash, when building ~1600 packages in Alpine Linux
https://op.oils.pub/aports-build/published.html
Anyone who's not “scared” of these bugs is probably a good fit, and you can do as much or as little as you like. This is also an opportunity to get deeper into the interpreter
Communication happens on Zulip, and we also have video meetings approximately every 2 weeks
I'll have a blog post explaining this work soon, but feel free to e-mail me if this (unusual) job matches your interests. Any questions are very welcome, and you can dip your toes in to see if it works for you
I wrote this page a few years ago to help people assess the fit: https://github.com/oils-for-unix/oils/wiki/Where-Contributor...
The job is remote-only, and we slightly prefer non-US contributors due to our funding
Tech stack: Python, Shell, perhaps C++
Contact: andychup@gmail.com
I’m the founder, trying to do “enlightened business.” We are a people-first, fully-remote, boutique indie tech agency – building a team of talented, high integrity, and community-minded individuals first, then building businesses around them. Our leadership staff are ex-Fortune 100; everybody touches code. Notable recent projects: internal tools for Anduril, and voltagepark.com.
We’re currently especially seeking:
Frontend Engineers (React, NextJS, Typescript; Animations, Performance optimization; sfbay local a plus)
Teamcenter and Odoo developers (C++/Java/Python; Siemens Teamcenter; Custom applications, workflows, data model updates)
IoT Developers (Python, MQTT, GraphQL, AWS, Test Infrastructure)
Full-Stack Software Engineers (React, Python, Ruby on Rails; Database Design, Devops, and third-party API integrations)
Please apply using this Google Form: https://forms.gle/3Hv6cwZzAzwqKMGz9. Applicants who submit before October 17 will typically receive a reply by October 24. Tier3 roles are typically 5-10 y/o/e with $150-$175k annual total comp. Tier4 roles are 11-20 y/o/e, $210-$250k annual total comp. Higher tiers exist, and we welcome exceptional applications.

Phrasing is a language learning app built by a polyglot, for polyglots. It was designed to be language agnostic, and currently fully supports over 80 languages. It brings a beautiful, simple, and addictive [1] learning experience to languages big and small, and helps users learn 2-10x more in the same amount of time [2].
The tech stack is a ClojureScript PWA on the front end, and an Elixir umbrella application on the backend. The data processing happens in Broadway pipelines, and are horizontally scalable with FLAME. All of the data is stored in Postgres, and most of the communication between the client and server happens with a custom local-second sync engine à la Linear.app.
The company is bootstrapped and bespoke. There’s no investors, there’s no AI generated code, no shadcdn UIs. I miss the days of the early internet, and acutely feel the mass enshittification of the web. I’m really trying to do something different with the experience as well as the business, all in hopes to bring back a little bit of that wonder that was so prevalent in the days of the early internet.
The app is all working, the experience is great, and the onboarding was just finished. I’ve been using the app now to successfully learn 18 languages [3] and it’s truly a joy to use. Just finishing up the new site [4] after feedback from our last launch and getting ready for more launches [5]. The new video has been getting some pretty rave reviews and is a good gentle introduction to the app [6]
For me, this app is a dream app. This tech stack is a dream tech stack. This company is a dream company. It’s hard to believe I’m the only one these would all be true for.
I’m looking for someone who believes in the product, mission [6], and tech to come in and help me turn this functioning application into something truly great. No experience is required — just a dedication for your craft, and the willingness to take a chance in something you believe in.
If you feel that this post was written for you, please write me a well written personalized CV to hn at phrasing dot app. Low effort applications will not receive a response regardless of your CV.

Hey everyone. I'm a Principal Engineer at Censys. We are the source for Internet Intelligence. Your code will run the gates at zoos and theme parks across Germany and the USA. When families scan tickets, when capacity limits kick in based on visitors and available resources (staff, equipment, facilities), when dynamic pricing adjusts for weather - that's our Rails app making real-time decisions for thousands of visitors daily.
We're 5 engineers at ToucanTix (sister company Combase has 80+). You'd have serious ownership and architectural influence from day one.
Technical challenges that actually matter:
Multi-tenant architecture supporting 100+ venues with wildly different business logic. Offline-first POS that syncs flawlessly. Complex pricing rules (weather + season + capacity + customer type) that need to stay performant. Hardware integrations with access control and payment systems.
Stack: Rails 7+ API with GraphQL (graphql-ruby), PostgreSQL doing serious heavy lifting with multi-tenant architecture, Redis for speed-critical stuff, SvelteKit frontend (if you're full-stack curious), Google Cloud infrastructure (Cloudtasker, Cloud Storage), RSpec/Capybara keeping everything bulletproof
You: 5+ years Rails. Strong at PostgreSQL optimization. Have architected systems for performance and scale. Comfortable owning technical decisions.
Us: Real ownership. No layers of management. Async-first remote culture. Profitable company, not burning VC cash. Your work has physical impact - people literally can't enter the attraction if your code breaks.

Looking for something more meaningful? How about the opportunity to have a direct impact on the property maintenance experience for hundreds of thousands of residents?
Welcome to the future of property maintenance. Property Meld’s vision is to radically improve how the property management industry handles property maintenance. If you’ve ever had a maintenance issue at your housing rental, you know how much of a pain it can be to get it fixed quickly and reliably. It doesn't have to be this way. We're rethinking the entire property maintenance experience from the ground up with two things in mind - first, driving the cost of doing maintenance to the absolute minimum, and second, providing an experience to residents and property owners that makes them want to stay with their property manager. If you are excited about turning something that has historically been a negative experience (maintenance) into a positive experience, we'd love to talk with you.

Tired of trying to beat kube into shape? Does writing YAML to ship code fill you with utter dread? Dream of a future where deploying software is simple, and you don't need an army of infrastructure engineers to build that perfect janky bash script™ to make life easy?
We're Railway, and we think infrastructure can be better. So far we've built out a platform loved by hundreds of thousands of users who simply tell us "Give me Postgres", "Deploy this repo", and we make it happen
Fair warning! The problems are complex: home-rolled hypervisors, cut-above container orchestration, over/under/whateverlay networks, virtio device drivers, edge proxies, IAM that doesn't suck, kitchen sinks - we need to build it and we're looking for likeminded individuals who think this stuff is fun.
Three open roles (apply below!):

Do you want to develop software that helps scientists, doctors, and historians discover breakthroughs? Join our small, fully-distributed software development team to help connect scholars of all disciplines with peer-reviewed journal articles.
Our company has been remote-first since we began in 2011. You’ll join a team with plenty of experience putting into practice what works well remotely, and avoiding what doesn’t. Third Iron has never taken VC money, and we’ve never had layoffs. Our approach to hiring and selling our products helps us feel confident that this pattern will continue far into the future.
Third Iron software is used by researchers at over 1,500 libraries, including universities, hospitals, corporations, and government agencies located in over 35 countries.
In a refreshing change from advertising-dependent tech companies and those who sell user data, we instead have a business-to-business model. We sell our subscription-based services to libraries, and anyone affiliated with one of these libraries can use our software. We do not sell user data. Our focus is on building the best software to enable research that changes the world.
We’re looking for a developer interested in full-stack work, since we have a variety of upcoming initiatives, some being mostly front-end, some being mostly back-end, and some a balance of the two.
The front-end of our stack primarily consists of JavaScript, using EmberJS for two major projects, and React for two others. Our backend is written in NodeJS, and features data storage using PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and CouchDB, and hosting primarily on AWS and HEroku.
If you’re interested in this fully remote position, we're interested to chat with you! Please email careers@thirdiron.com or apply at https://thirdiron.applytojob.com/apply/McK2VdxTuX/Senior-Ful...

We're hiring several roles in our Istanbul office. The Istanbul team works remotely, but we do have an office in Suadiye where the team meets up once a month or when in person collaboration is helpful. I oversee our Istanbul team, and they report directly into our Engineering or Analytics team based in the US.
We're headquartered in New York, with a smaller team in Istanbul focused on software engineering. Our focus is on design and development of custom e-commerce solutions for DTC orgs within enterprise companies, with additional emphasis on test-and-learn strategies that help us improve the customer experience and inform our technical roadmap.
To apply, please submit an application to the appropriate role in the links below.
Sr. Frontend Developer: https://thelabnyc.bamboohr.com/careers/203
– Strong experience with Sass. Experience with React component styling and/or building reusable styling frameworks. Experience with Typescript andcomfortable with building React components.
Senior Backend Developer: https://thelabnyc.bamboohr.com/careers/188
– Experience with Python for back-end web development. Django or similar libraries/frameworks. Interest in learning devops technologies like Gitlab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, ect. Modern Javascript for frontend development, Typescript, React+Redux

We try to be flexible around work and don't believe in regular 60-hour weeks. One key aim of our product is to help employees maintain a healthy work/life balance (who wants to be disturbed by business calls on the weekends?) in an age of remote and hybrid work. The founders lead by example, with all of us having worked 4-4.5 day weeks at times in order to spend time with our children.
We're looking for full stack software engineers - doesn't matter if you're much stronger in either the front or back end, but you do need to be able to build all the parts of a feature - there's no "front end team" once the backend is done. There is naturally work that's much more one sided, so you won't be stuck for months on the front end if you prefer the backend, but we're still a small startup so we expect you to get stuck in and help out where you can!
You'll need to visit our London office roughly once a month.

Phosphor builds recursively self-improving systems (via malleable software and natural language interfaces) to enable the efficient development and financing of the physical world (infrastructure, energy, real estate).
Our product is built around a powerful object model which combines document editors with proprietary programming languages for financial modeling, computable contracts, etc, in order to build one of the more unique RLHF feedback loops that we've seen to date.
A primary technical bet is that if we can productize version control properly, we can capture annotated "diffs" of user information with user-validated annotations. By doing so, we create path-dependence, which enables us to specify system-level goals for agents to solve for.
Our product is similar a combination of Linear and Wolfram, with components and objects that enable advanced financial modeling, legal/regulatory analysis, and geospatial analysis of infrastructure development opportunities.
We're venture-backed by one of the best deeptech funds in the market and are hiring for roles spanning product engineers, CRDT wizards, and compiler/calculation engine leads.

Short and transparent hiring process, 30 min intro call, 30 min tech screen, 30 min vision/product call, 2hr technical test, 45 min culture fit call, offer. No panels, no leet code questions.
Requirements: 5+ YoE, 3+ Go, 1+ Typescript, 6+ months of working with AI assisted IDE/tooling. Requirements are not firm, but you will be asked questions about Go and Typescript and it would be difficult to pass the tech screen without the experience.

We do not provide relocation. - We do not have the ability to process or handle sponsorships at this time (visa's of any type) - you must be a citizen, permanent resident, or have work authorization that isn't tied to employment (IE refugee status).

We’re mission-driven capitalists: making life-saving drugs more accessible, and building a $200B+ company—on the scale of Palantir or ServiceNow—serving the largest healthcare enterprises.
Traction: profitable and growing fast. Selling 7+ figure contracts to enterprise healthcare customers.
Team: built by exited founders, YC & MIT alum, ex-Tesla, ex-Google engineers.
Top investors: funded by elite Silicon Valley VCs who've backed unicorns like DoorDash, Lyft, and Mammoth Biosciences. And strategic healthcare investors with deep industry connections.
Outsized impact & opportunity: work at the intersection of agentic AI, healthcare transformation, and life-changing patient outcomes.
