CreativeLens.ai is an early-stage AI startup building content review and brand governance software for marketing teams.
Marketing teams still spend a surprising amount of time manually reviewing campaigns, ads, social posts, emails, and other creative for brand guidelines, compliance requirements, and internal policies. CreativeLens lets companies upload their guidelines, turns them into review rules, and uses AI to review content before it goes live.
I'm the founder and am looking for our first dedicated GTM hire. This is a hands-on role: customer discovery, outbound, demos, partnerships, positioning, and ultimately helping us land our first customers. You'll work directly with me and will have substantial influence over both GTM and the product.
I'm specifically looking for someone who has experience in B2B SaaS sales/growth/partnerships and is comfortable operating without an established sales playbook. Experience selling to marketing teams, agencies, or marketing operations is especially relevant.
This is not a role where you'll inherit a mature pipeline or manage an existing sales team. You'll help figure out what works from scratch.
We're open to candidates worldwide as long as you can overlap meaningfully with US business hours and communicate fluently with US customers.
Compensation: competitive base + performance incentives + meaningful equity, structured based on experience and location. Open to starting with a short paid trial before committing full-time if mutually preferred.
If interested, email me at careers@creativelens.ai with your LinkedIn/profile and a few sentences about your relevant experience. Bonus: tell me how you'd approach finding the first 20 customers for CreativeLens.
We're building an AI-native operations platform for childcare and early education, covering enrollment/compliance, payments, operations, and family communication. The product is built and we're preparing to onboard our first paying customers.
Currently equity-only. We plan to raise within the next 6–12 months, with a path to a compensated long-term technical leadership role at the company.

We are a people-first, boutique tech agency creating on-demand teams and software solutions for long-standing clients. These clients trust us to practice engineering excellence as though we were members of their own staff. Our leadership team is ex-Fortune 100 with software engineering backgrounds: we’re still coding. Notable recent projects include a gigantic ERP migration for Anduril, and working with Surge Labs to help develop some of the frontier LLM models themselves (yes, seriously). This is a remote-first agency, but some projects involve onsite work.
I’m the founder and CEO, and I’m trying to do what I call “enlightened business”. I take responsibility for both staff and clients, and I look for people who approach their work with a similar sense of ownership. Applicants must meet a high bar - I personally review every hire. In return you’ll get:
* Flexibility and a low-bureaucracy environment * Clients that won’t treat the vendor like “the B Team” * The chance to act as a code architect, not just implement tickets * Exposure to a wide variety of industries and modern challenges * Me as your personal champion and advocate Feel free to submit, even if you already did in the past. We’re currently especially seeking:
* Back-end, Front-end, and Full-Stack Software Engineers, Tiers 3 and 4 (Typescript/Javascript, React, NextJS; Ruby on Rails; Python; DevOps, and third-party API integrations)Tier 3 roles are typically 5-10 years experience with $150-$180K total comp.
Tier 4 roles are 11-20 years experience, $215-$260K total comp. Higher tiers exist, and we always welcome exceptional applications.
Though not yet universal, many of our clients are now demanding senior/staff engineers with success using modern agentic approaches. Be ready to explain where current models work well and where they do not.
Please apply using this Google Form: https://forms.gle/R5b8FaGEM7CSJzsC7
Also because posting some visibility has been popular with you guys: * We got 170 responses to our July HN Who's Hiring, and made 3 offers. * We're hoping to hire about 5 people before August 31, even though we're starting a little late.

Odin is the workforce visibility and compliance platform for critical infrastructure. We protect the world’s largest construction projects, data centers, and critical assets—from groundbreaking through post-turnover—by unifying physical access control, workforce compliance, video monitoring, and drone surveillance in one command center. We’re already on 500+ active projects with 100K+ workers, securing over $100B in construction value.
We’re hiring two hands-on senior builders:
1. Senior Design Engineer: Research, design, and build the interfaces people use to run jobsites. You’ll establish Odin’s design language and production design system, create coded prototypes with mocked states, and implement responsive, accessible screens across desktop, tablet, and mobile. We’re looking for someone whose portfolio demonstrates customer research, strong product and interaction judgment, and substantial production frontend engineering.
2. Senior Platform Engineer — Edge Systems: Build the software connecting jobsites to Odin’s cloud. You’ll work with cameras, access-control readers, rugged devices, local compute, and constrained networks. You'll own device integrations, video and event ingestion, buffering, synchronization, remote deployment, diagnosis, and recovery. We’re looking for production experience with edge or distributed systems, intermittent connectivity, third-party hardware or protocols, and software operating beyond a conventional cloud environment.

I'm the head of engineering at Sitewire, a construction finance platform that helps lenders and real estate investors track projects, automate work verification, and speed up payments. Our small, fully-remote team has built a profitable product that's expanded organically 3x per year, mainly through word of mouth. We're now looking to roughly double the size of our engineering team as we enter our next phase of growth.
We're looking for smart, pragmatic full-stack engineers who operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership. This is not a ticket factory: you'll be working directly with our PM to turn product briefs into new platform features and will have a hand in shaping the architecture and design of the things you build.
Our current stack is React and React Native on the client side with Postgres as our database. Our web app and API are currently powered by a Ruby on Rails monolith that we're gradually migrating off of. You don't need experience with Rails and it's not what we're hiring for: we're looking for React experience + solid backend engineering experience with any modern language.
Our interview process is pretty simple: a phone screen/behavioral interview, a 1-hour coding challenge that you can complete as either a live session or a take-home (your choice), and a presentation on a project you designed and feel particularly proud of (or think is particularly interesting).
If you're interested, please fill out this form and I'll be in touch: https://forms.gle/diVa5ScKJLYnW7u38
We're building a heterogeneous execution platform to accelerate data analytics and ML workloads, and we're looking for a deep kdb+/q expert to work alongside our hardware acceleration team. You'll focus on kdb+ internals, query optimization, and the C API, helping us understand how queries execute under the hood, where the bottlenecks are, and how to integrate acceleration into kdb+ workflows.
Looking for: expert-level kdb+/q, engine internals, query planning/optimization, C API extensions, performance analysis. Nice to have: exposure to hardware acceleration concepts.
Apply: email amir@silicon45.com with your resume and a short note on 1-2 performance-critical kdb+ systems you personally built or optimized.
We’re looking for software engineers with 3+ years of experience to work in our team of brilliant minds. Ideal candidates have a solid generalist background in software development and are ready to contribute on real production systems.
If you’re interested, apply by sending your resume to paulephraimebuka@gmail.com
We build production AI systems inside other people's companies: hotel groups, automotive retail, creative agencies, consumer brands. One industry at a time, sitting next to the operator whose job the system changes. Very little of it is generic LLM plumbing.
Two ways in.
CONTRACT, PROJECT-BASED ($50-$150/hr). For people who already have the domain. A scoped first project, typically three to six weeks. This is most of what we need right now, and it is how we would rather start with anyone senior.
FULL-TIME ($80k-$120k + equity). For strong engineers earlier on who want to go deep into one industry with us instead of staying a generalist. We teach you the vertical. You bring the engineering.
Pick one track. Depth in one beats a tour of all three.
MARKETING. Lifecycle and CRM automation, brief-to-asset pipelines, creative variants with brand guardrails that hold, attribution. You have fought HubSpot, Klaviyo, and the Meta and Google ad APIs.
CONSTRUCTION. Invoices in, mapped to contracts, schedule of values, and cost codes, back out as pay applications. Then RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedule impacts. You know why generic invoice parsers stall when half the input is handwritten. Weighted toward ex construction tech and people who have run operations at a GC or a sub.
FASHION AND LUXURY. Merchandising and assortment planning, tech packs and PLM, Shopify Plus and PIM, allocation, replenishment, demand forecasting, size curves, markdown optimization, clienteling, creative workflows.
ALL TRACKS: You own a system end to end (data in, evals, an interface the client actually opens), and you can sit with a non-technical operator and leave with the right spec.
TO APPLY: email jobs@arcforma.ai with the subject line
HN | TRACK | Your Name | your applicable background in one short line
TRACK is MKT, CON, or FASH. For example:
HN | FASH | Jane Okafor | 6 yrs building allocation and planning systems at a DTC apparel brand
The body: what you shipped that is applicable to the role, a link we can open (GitHub, a writeup, a demo), LinkedIn, and your timezone plus whether you want contract or full-time and at what rate.
Every application gets a reply within five business days. 20 minute call, paid trial on real work, then a project or an offer.

As our business grows, we're expanding the team, backed by a recent $140M+ growth equity raise.
We are looking for a candidate with a generalist background in software development, including 5+ years of experience on Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or MLOps teams. You'd be joining a small cross-functional team and have the chance to make critical contributions. Our ideal candidate has a passion for automating ops, troubleshooting infrastructure, and creating first-class developer experiences. On top of that, expertise with the following (or similar) tools/technologies is a strong signal of fit: Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform, AWS, GitHub Actions, PostgreSQL, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Nix, and Docker.

Torq builds software that keeps orthopedic surgeries running smoothly by connecting hospitals, medical-device vendors, and logistics teams. We’re looking for a software engineer who excels at turning customer problems into dependable software. You’ll work across product decisions, system design, production code, and automation.
You’ll work alongside a small, experienced team that ships continuously and stays close to customers. We use a modern stack, accelerate with AI, keep onboarding fast, and aim to have every new engineer ship a production feature on their first day. Every engineer owns meaningful product areas with direct customer impact.
We value completed projects, sound judgment, learning speed, and clear communication over a perfect résumé or exact stack experience. New graduates and candidates with up to three years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Instinct Science is the AI leader in veterinary medicine. We build the platform that powers animal hospitals — a cloud-native EMR with real-time clinical decision support and applied AI that helps veterinary teams practice at their best. Thousands of users across the globe rely on what we ship every day.
We're at an inflection point: proven product-market fit, scaling fast, and greenfield work ahead that will serve tens of thousands of users. Engineers here own problems end-to-end — from talking to veterinarians about their biggest frustrations, to shipping production code, to iterating on real feedback. You're measured by customer impact, not story points.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Drive product direction alongside customers and PMs — not just implement specs - Design scalable, elegant solutions in Elixir and React - Ship meaningful updates weekly, gather feedback, and iterate - Mentor junior engineers and define patterns that scale with the team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Must-haves: - 5+ years building modern SaaS applications, full-stack - Ability to break complex problems into efficient, actionable work - Team-first attitude; strong communication in a remote environment - Empathy for customers — you care about what ships and who uses it
Nice-to-haves: - Elixir or Erlang (we love functional programming) - TypeScript and React - AWS (build, deploy, troubleshoot) - Relational database design and query tuning
STACK: Elixir, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, AWS

Hi, Alex and Jeremy here from UMH.
8 years ago, Jeremy was absolutely frustrated with the status quo of data infrastructure in manufacturing. Companies paid millions per year for "shitty 90s software" and are still doing that today, when there is much better software out there for open-source. So we decided that we can do this better, first founded a System Integrator, realized most of the tasks in setting up and maintaining a data infrastructure can be standardized, and decided to found the currently VC-backed UMH, which is built on open source software and is open source itself.
What we're actually building: We build and scale a real-time data platform that runs hundreds of Benthos pipelines inside a single Docker container (UMH Core), processing millions of industrial messages that control actual production processes.
Plus a local-first user interface (Management Console) where both non-technical factory workers and power-users/developers can work together. And yes, we care about UI in enterprise/industrial software.

I’m hiring the first senior engineering hire for an early-stage multi-agent product.
This is for a senior backend/platform builder who still likes shipping product, not just designing systems. The work is a mix of orchestration, integrations, reliability, auditability, and getting useful workflow automation into users’ hands quickly.
You’d work directly with me to turn a strong technical direction into a dependable product.
Best fit: 6+ years shipping end-to-end, strong backend judgement, product range, low-ceremony style, and comfort with ambiguity.
Helpful if you care about retries, tool boundaries, observability, and human override in AI systems.
Comp is in the $170k-$210k base range with meaningful equity.
If that sounds like your lane, email dave@evanlee.co.uk with a short note and links to shipped work.

At Statecraft, we are building an inorganic workforce to help keep the US Government running. Our AI workers are trained on government workflows, operate reliably and compliantly, and build their own tools and software to help achieve outcomes and digitally transform outdated processes.
America is not short on forms, policies, or good people. It is short on hours. Our public servants are overworked and understaffed. For too long, contractors and consultants have made empty promises to solve this problem. Instead, they've wasted billions in taxpayer dollars. We're changing this with an AI workforce that works around the clock and improves over time. On average, we save taxpayers 80% while helping agencies deliver on initiatives and their mission 10x faster.
We're looking for a forward deployed engineer to deliver outcomes for customers, building critical systems with national impact. You'll also be working on our core platform, extending it with new capabilities.
* This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
More details on role and perks here: https://careers.statecraft.ai/jobs/forward-deployed-engineer
At FusionAuth, our mission is to make authentication and authorization simple and secure for every developer building web and mobile applications. We are building the only CIAM platform built to deploy anywhere, give you total control, and scale across any modern architecture–no matter how complex.
There are a lot of companies in the auth space, but we feel like we have something special:
* a relatively unique deployment model (self-host on-prem, run in your cloud or let us operate it for you in ours)
* A well designed API first approach; one customer compared our APIs to petrichor
* a mature product (the code base is nine+ years old and we've found and fixed a lot of the sharp edges around core login use cases; but don't worry, there are plenty more features to add)
* a full featured free-as-in-beer version which makes the sales cycle easier; prospects often come in having prototyped an integration
Our core software is commercial. We open source much of our supporting infrastructure. Technologies and standards that you will work with: modern Java, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL, OAuth, SAML, OIDC.

Interview Resources is building an AI-powered deep research platform for interview preparation. Instead of generic interview guides, we autonomously research company-specific interview experiences across Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, engineering blogs, company websites, Glassdoor, and other public sources, then generate structured preparation reports in minutes.
You'll work across the entire stack: building AI workflows, designing backend services, shipping polished frontend experiences, integrating LLMs and agents, improving research pipelines, and deploying production systems. You'll own features from idea to production rather than just implementing tickets.
We are already profitable with 3k+ paid users.
Our stack currently includes Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, Vercel, AWS, and modern AI tooling. Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, MCP, RAG, vector databases, or AI agents is a strong plus, but curiosity and the ability to learn quickly matter more.
We're looking for someone who:
Has strong full-stack engineering skills. Has built and deployed production applications. Loves working with AI and LLM-powered products. Takes ownership and ships quickly. Has personal projects or open-source work they're proud of.
Expected salary: $30k – $90k (flexible based on experience, impact, and per capita)
To apply, email hiring@interviewresources.app with:
Your CV/Resume. Your GitHub profile. One piece of work or project you're most proud of (include links if possible). Please include your expected salary in your application.
Two-location outpatient behavioral health practice. We've spent the past year building our own internal tools instead of waiting on vendors: patient self-referral, therapist availability, referral pipeline, onboarding. All internal, nothing public yet. They're prototypes — React from a CDN, browser storage, one system on Apps Script with Sheets as its database. No production backend. That's the job.
What makes it interesting: real patients, real providers, live signal. Whether people finish the referral flow or abandon it halfway. Which screen the front desk quietly stops using. You hear it from them the same day, not through a ticket six weeks later.
Team is me and one operations analyst learning to build with Claude. No senior engineer above you; you'd be the engineering function, and you'd help level them up.
You'd own hosting, deployment, auth, access control, audit logging, backups — and review AI-generated code before it touches PHI. Most of our code is already AI-generated and that isn't reversing. We're not hiring someone to type features. We're hiring someone who knows when the output is wrong and will own that call.
2-4 years shipping production software. Stack negotiable. Healthcare experience welcome, not required.
Email aj@clearviewhwg.com. No cover letter. Answer four questions:
— Something you've built and deployed, and one thing you'd do differently now.
— A time you were told something couldn't be done for security, compliance or policy reasons. What happened?
— Something you learned recently because a problem demanded it. How long until you were useful, and how did you know?
— How you actually use AI coding tools. Where do you let them run, and where do you keep your hands on the wheel?
I'd rather have specifics I can verify than a polished story.

Hi, I'm Max, CTO and co-founder. Langfuse is the open-source LLM engineering platform — tracing/observability, evals, and prompt management — used by tens of thousands of teams to ship, debug, and improve their LLM and agent apps.
Earlier this year, Langfuse joined ClickHouse ($400M Series D led by Dragoneer, $15B valuation). That gives us the best of both worlds: startup-speed, ownership, and roadmap control, backed by the scale, resources, and equity upside of a category-defining infra company.
The full story: Why we joined: https://langfuse.com/blog/joining-clickhouse ClickHouse's take: https://clickhouse.com/blog/clickhouse-acquires-langfuse-ope...
Right now we're focused on helping customers segment their traces, surface insights from them, and ship changes to their agents faster — observability at serious scale, plus the product surface engineers actually live in day to day. See what we're building: langfuse.com

Everyone building with AI is crowded into the digital world: dev tools, copilots, agents for software people. Meanwhile the largest asset class on earth, the built world, runs on records scattered across 20,000+ US jurisdictions, and most of those have no online portal at all. The only way in is a relationship and a public-records request, and you cannot download a relationship. We turned that into the intelligence layer for the built world: permits, contractors, parcels, government decisions. Customers pay for it today.

Dablam is an AI-native reputation intelligence firm. We help corporations shape how they're understood in an information environment increasingly mediated by LLMs—surfacing information that's true and under-represented and getting it to the right audiences at the right time.
We expand our team with multiple BDR roles in London and NYC. We're looking for 3+ years of BDR/SDR or comparable B2B outbound experience, AI automation, Clay, strong cold-calling and written outreach skills, CRM experience (HubSpot/Salesforce), and a genuine interest in AI and reputation. Comp: competitive base + uncapped commission + equity, plus medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, generous PTO, professional development budget.
Apply by sending your CV to careers@ our website. Only natural persons with the right work permits, no recruiters, AI agencies or companies. Expect fast replies.
We're a consumer fintech with 20M+ users who trust us to budget, save, invest, and bank in one place. Profitable for 4+ years. And as of today, our average employee tenure is 3.6 years, a number you almost never see in startup tech, and one we're quietly proud of. People stay because the work is good, the people are sharp, and we've built something worth staying for.
Now we're building net-new consumer products from zero, and we're looking for people who love to tinker and build stuff to ship them with us.
The kind of person we're looking for: • Top fraction of a percentile in craft, the kind of good that's hard to fake • Builds for fun, not just for work. The kind who ships a working prototype over the weekend and can't help themselves • Comfortable owning 0 to 1 consumer products end-to-end • Allergic to politics, theater, and bureaucracy
What you get: • Remote, anywhere with reasonable timezone overlap (and for someone truly exceptional, we'll make async work) • Real scale from day one (20M+ users, real money, real consequences) • Compensation that beats the market. We pay well and we mean it. Base, discretionary year-end bonus, meaningful 401(k) match, and meaningful equity in a profitable, growing unicorn (the kind that's actually worth something) • Platinum PPO health benefits with Blue Shield, top of the top of the line, covering your entire family • A mission worth your time: make money simple, so people spend less time managing it and keep more of it • Small senior-heavy teams, direct ownership, no layers • Forthcoming with the business metrics that matter, so you always know how the company is actually doing • The startup perks done right: catered lunches, wellness stipend, team offsites, casual dress. The stuff that compounds when you're showing up engaged for years, not months • Profitable for 4+ years, so you build with conviction, not runway anxiety
Stack: python, claude, postgres, react.js /react native
If this is you, email us at recruiting@albert.com
Edit: we are in the process of rebuilding our career site to speak to how we hire (e.g. hunt, dont post, find the best). Just an FYI
Also, we carefully review every application. If we think there may be a fit, we'll reach out within a few business days. Either way, thank you for your interest in what we're building and for taking the time to connect with us.

Preferred Networks is an AI company based in Tokyo working across the stack, from AI chips and computing infrastructure to LLMs and products. You may already know us indirectly if you've used software we've built, such as Optuna or CuPy (or Chainer, back in the day).
We are designing in-house chips (MN-Core series: https://mn-core.com/) and training LLMs (PLaMo series: https://huggingface.co/pfnet), and our team is actively hiring for two roles related to these endeavors:
- MN-Core LLM Serving Engine Engineer: Build software infrastructure to serve LLMs using our upcoming inference accelerator, MN-Core L1000. [Apply here: https://open.talentio.com/r/1/c/preferred/pages/121580]
- LLM Inference Optimization Engineer: Improve the inference engine powering our API service and maintain PLaMo implementations in open source projects such as vLLM. [Apply here: https://open.talentio.com/r/1/c/preferred/pages/119173]
Both roles require relocation to Japan. We are happy to provide visa and relocation support.
Founding AI engineer seat. AI adoption at Portless today is basic (decks, spreadsheets, call summaries, a bit of vibe-coded dashboards) — no real end-to-end agentic workflows yet. You'll build the AI infrastructure: shipping high-impact agentic workflows yourself, and building reusable "Lego blocks" (APIs, MCP tools, docs) so any team can build their own. Cross-functional, high-leverage role touching every team, working directly with leadership. Example first project: an agent for inbound invoice questions — understands the question, pulls the right invoice, drafts a context-aware reply for a teammate to click-send, turning an hour of work into ~30 seconds.
Stack: Python, TypeScript, LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI), MCP, RAG, vector databases, agent orchestration, Cursor/Claude Code. Requirements: Must be based in North America. 3+ years software engineering with 1-2+ years building production AI systems, 10+ real agentic/LLM workflows shipped end-to-end, platform mindset (built tools/infra for others, not just yourself), strong Python and/or TypeScript across backend and lightweight frontend, relevant sector background (e-commerce, 3PL, logistics, or comparable B2B).
Nice to have: RAG pipelines, vector DBs, multi-step tool-use/agent orchestration, evals frameworks. Full JD + Apply: https://uctalent.io/referral/Huynh_Nhu_Bao_Nhan221138/erKmmo...
We're a VC-funded startup (recently raised $51M Series C) building an infrastructure orchestrator and collaborative management platform for Infrastructure-as-Code – from OpenTofu, Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Kubernetes, to Ansible.
On the backend we're using 100% Go with AWS primitives. We're looking for backend developers who like doing DevOps'y stuff sometimes (because in a way it's the spirit of our company), or have experience with the cloud native ecosystem. Ideally you'd have experience working with an IaC tool, i.e. Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, or SaltStack.
Overall we have a deeply technical product, trying to build something customers love to use, and have a lot of happy and satisfied customers. We promise interesting work, the ability to open source parts of the project which don't give us a business advantage, as well as healthy working hours.
If that sounds like fun to you, please apply at https://careers.spacelift.io/jobs/3006934-software-engineer-...
You can find out more about the product we're building at https://spacelift.io and also see our engineering blog for a few technical blog posts of ours: https://spacelift.io/blog/engineering

Unitary Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research group building a quantum technology ecosystem that benefits the most people. We build open-source infrastructure for quantum computing — current projects include Mitiq, UCC, and Clifft — and run community programs like microgrants and unitaryHACK.
We're hiring an MTS to help define and build our open-source compilation and simulation stack: compilation, simulation, error mitigation, resource estimation, benchmarking, and early fault-tolerant workflows. You'll join a small technical team doing research through sponsored collaborations with national labs, universities, and industry partners. The role is about technical ownership — forming a technical point of view, proposing roadmaps, and building tools that become useful shared infrastructure. There's also room to experiment thoughtfully with AI-assisted research workflows.
We're looking for a track record of building software other people use (ideally open source), a strong background in quantum computing (fault tolerance, error correction, compilation, simulation), and strong Python; C++/Rust is a plus. A PhD is one possible background for this role, but not required.
Visa sponsorship is not provided.
LiveMap - https://livemap.ch/ - is a funded startup with a vision to build the next generation of mapping apps (think hyper-personalised Google Maps). How that looks is still being explored so we're building prototypes, getting them into customer hands and iterating quickly. We're looking to bring on a couple of people to help accelerate this development process.
As a data engineer you'll set up a data pipeline, work with product to identify relevant datasets, connect, persist and expose that data.
Working on the routing engine you'll extend off the shelf routing engines (Graphhopper) to take into account dynamic run-time preferences & attributes (think temporal).

Lokker is a privacy platform that helps organizations understand and control what is happening across public-facing infrastructure: websites, browser-side applications, scripts, pixels, cookies, tags, forms, SDK/API calls, and browser-side data flows.
We are hiring a senior backend engineer to own and continue to scale Lokker’s scanning infrastructure. This role focuses on backend systems for high-volume website scanning, browser automation, distributed scanning, networking, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
IMPORTANT: A key requirement for this role is substantial, hands-on production experience with browser automation, headless browsers, crawlers, scanners, synthetic monitoring, scraping infrastructure, or closely related technologies. This is not a general backend role, and we can only consider candidates who have already built, operated, or scaled systems in this domain.
Other relevant experience includes distributed systems, queues/orchestration, high-scale backend services, HTTP/TLS/DNS, proxies, CDNs, WAFs, bot detection, and fingerprinting.
Production experience in Go, Rust, TypeScript/Node.js, C++, or similar.

Aqora Quantum is building the algorithm layer of quantum computing: the place where people develop, share, and orchestrate quantum workflows. Hardware gets most of the attention, but the algorithms and the tooling around them are where the field actually becomes useful, and today that work is scattered across notebooks and one-off scripts. We host versioned datasets and reproducible benchmarks so results are comparable, and give teams a way to publish a workflow that someone else can pick up and run. Think Kaggle/Hugging Face, but for quantum. We're a small but growing team, having just raised our seed round, and we're now extending into the US.
We're looking for one senior full-stack engineer. You'd own features end to end: GraphQL API and services in Rust, React/TypeScript frontend, plus the runner that executes user-submitted workflows against simulators and real backends.
You don't need a quantum background, but you do need to enjoy going deep on an unfamiliar technology and getting productive in it fast. That happens here constantly, and we'll give you the time and the people to learn it properly. Beyond that: production Rust you've shipped and maintained, and real comfort across the stack.

We are a privacy-focused B2C VPN, running since 2010, independently audited every year (#8 in progress), well-regarded in the privacy community. Alongside the VPN we run additional services: modDNS, Mailx and Portmaster.
You'll partner with our senior infrastructure engineer and own day-to-day infra for IVPN and modDNS: rolling out a new immutable, diskless, bare-metal VPN gateway fleet, improving DNS routing, and automating whatever you can. Fully remote, high autonomy: maximum freedom, minimum meetings.

We’re a mature microinsurance SaaS startup, building software to help bridge the gap between insurance companies and those who are not insured or under-insured. High traffic, mobile first + SMS platform that requires some interesting compliance and security requirements with deployments in countries with variable quality infrastructure. Now with added AI sprinkled on top to automate underwriting and data collection tasks - enabling lower cost insurance and reaching wider/underserved markets.

I’m the founder of Proxybase [0]. We’re building an agentic SOCKS5 proxy network designed to bring transparency and ethical sourcing to the residential proxy market.
Quick note to anyone who applied last month: First off, thank you to everyone who reached out. We got hit with way more high-quality applications than expected, and between running day-to-day operations and working through the backlog, we took much longer to respond than we should have. If you applied last month and haven't heard back, we're genuinely sorry for the delay, we are actively reviewing those responses alongside this batch.
Why Proxybase? Historically, the residential proxy industry has been pretty shady, think hidden background scrapers bundled into TV firmware or mobile apps, combined with predatory payout systems that hold provider funds hostage for months.
We’re taking a different approach:
Fully Open-Source Clients: Our GUI [1] and CLI [2] are completely open-source so anyone can inspect and audit what we run. Explicit Consent: Providers knowingly opt in. No stealth bundling. Instant, Fair Payouts: $1 minimum payout threshold sent directly to provider wallets via US stablecoins—no holding funds to farm interest.
What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a Backend Systems Engineer (Rust) to help us build out our asynchronous SOCKS5 routing infrastructure, daemon node orchestration, and automated bandwidth allocation pipelines.
Stack: Rust (Tokio / Axum), SOCKS5 protocol, Linux systemd daemons, SQLite Location: Fully Remote (Async-friendly, flexible timezone) Compensation: Competitive salary + equity (USD or stablecoin options available)
If you're interested in building infrastructure for an industry that desperately needs better standards, send an email to jobs@proxybase.xyz with your GitHub/resume and a short note on what you’ve been working on lately.
I’m also around in the comments if you have any questions or feedback on what we're building.

Hi, we are a small group trying to bring the "trustworthy" feature back to tech. Curating and building a FOSS+ toolset, storefront, and eventually online service—all to support freedom, privacy, and informed consent—on device and on the net.
We've written our thoughts and research down at: https://trustworthy.technology/ and we have a few geeks starting projects at: https://codeberg.org/aol
First off, you'll notice that you've not heard about this project before. Next, the message is a bit scattered, and the "programmer art," while arguably not horrible isn't winning any awards either, haha.
That's where you come in.
You are one of the few folks who really cares about this stuff, and also a graphic/product designer, or perhaps a digital marketer, communicator or "people whisperer." (Being in the EU would be helpful as well, to work from the digital sovereignty angle, though not required.)
Some of us are unemployed, don't have any money of note, and currently donating our time. Maybe you are too, or retired/cashed-out and bored. Consider this another FOSS-like project. We hope the store/service will make money, but we're not there yet.
Interested? Let's chat at: https://trustytech.zulipchat.com/join/ipafmtlcq5iwrlmk2v7pu4...
Chainguard is the trusted source for open source. We build hardened, minimal, continuously-updated images, libraries, and packages that eliminate vulnerabilities before they ship — used by teams at Anduril, Canva, OpenAI, Snap, and Snowflake, among others.
We're hiring a PM to own the malware and greyware scanning engine inside Chainguard Repository — the system that analyzes source code, build behavior, and maintainer activity across the open source packages flowing through our platform to catch compromised or malicious artifacts before they reach a customer's environment. You'd own the roadmap for detection coverage, scanner accuracy (precision/recall trade-offs are the daily grind), and how findings get surfaced to security teams and translated into policy enforcement. Close partnership with our detection engineering and threat research teams, and with customers who are increasingly asking "how do you know this package is safe?"
Good fit if you've done PM work on a detection, fraud, spam, or security scanning system before, are comfortable being hands-on with data and false-positive/false-negative trade-offs, and want to work on a problem that's getting more urgent as AI agents pull in more open source dependencies automatically.
JD to be posted imminently but email me if interested and I'll route appropriately: patrick@chainguard.dev

Detections.ai is building the platform for teams to create, test, organize, share, and improve detections.
We’re hiring a full-stack/product engineer with hands-on detection experience—writing or tuning detections, building SOC tooling, or integrating SIEM/EDR platforms.
You’ll own product features end to end across React interfaces, backend services, APIs, data models, search, integrations, and asynchronous workflows.
LLMs are a core product capability, not a bolt-on chatbot. Our assistant orchestrates domain tools and agents to analyze threat intelligence, search detection libraries, identify coverage gaps, create and translate detections, and ground recommendations in connected SIEM telemetry. We care about accuracy, evals, observability, hostile-input safety, and practitioner UX.

Apply: Email jobs@detections.ai with “HN Full-Stack Engineer” in the subject and a short note about your detection-engineering experience.
Prior experience in the autonomous vehicle or robotics industry is a bonus, but not required.

- Forward-Deployed Engineer (UK / Zurich, Switzerland)
- Staff Product Manager, Data Platform (San Francisco)

We're looking for the second hire on our marketing team! You might wonder, why post about it on HN? If you are the kind of tech-savvy marketer that has worked on developer tools or infrastructure software before, and reads HN to keep up with the latest, this might be a fit for you. Our marketing stack utilizes Claude Code for some automation (summaries, posting, etc), but we keep the actual writing human authored - if that appeals to you, reach out!

Eleos Technologies is a growing company building communication software for truck drivers and the back-office workers who support them. We're looking for someone who has the experience to move fast on new stuff and knows how and when to pick their battles on old stuff. You'd be one of four iOS engineers at a company that's big enough to survive an economic downturn, but not so big you can't make immediate, direct impact that'll be seen and appreciated by the whole company. (We've also spent the last decade working really hard to make sure our tools, processes, and culture respect everyone's work/life balance. I'm the CTO and I don't text people on my team, and they don't text me, and that's true throughout.)
It's a native iOS app written in a mixture of Objective-C and Swift, leaning on Swift for new features. (But that said: if you chafe at the idea of maintaining or fixing bugs in battle-tested Objective-C that's paying our salaries, please look elsewhere!) We have about 1/3rd functional/UI automated test coverage and the rest is human-powered by our QA team.
If you're interested, please share your info via https://jobs.lever.co/eleostech/b4866f22-fab3-4f84-abec-6e74... and we'll get in touch!

We're a Dental Support Organization running 65 practices across TX/OK/CO/MO/IA/NE/TN/AZ. The unsexy industry description hides what's actually an interesting technical role: a small dev team with real ownership, pushing hard on automation and AI to make dental operations actually work well.
Stack is primarily Rails 8 + React, Electron, C# .NET (OpenDental), and Go — all on AWS.
You'd be joining a tight team where developers own problems end-to-end: from understanding why a billing workflow breaks down, to designing the fix, to shipping it. The domain is surprisingly broad — patient communication, PMS integration, payroll, clinical workflows — and there's no shortage of genuinely novel problems once you learn the business.
Good fit if you like: stable company, small team, broad latitude, and work that visibly matters to the people using it. Not a fit if you need a large eng org — but there's plenty of greenfield work as we're still actively building new features, not just maintaining legacy code.

Do you feel scared and alone when opening the AWS console? Do you wish you could just tell Claude to manage your infra, and it would just work? Do you dream of a future where software is abundant and developers and normies alike are free to build their wildest dreams?

We're working at the forefront distributed systems engineering, interface design, and agentic computing to bring about the infrastructure platform we've always wanted. Fair warning! The problems are complex: racking and stacking servers, home-rolled hypervisors, cut-above container orchestration, over/under/whateverlay networks, virtio device drivers, edge proxies, IAM that doesn't suck, kitchen sinks - we need to build it and we're looking for likeminded individuals who think this stuff is fun.

My name is Marius and I am the CTO at AREO (https://goareo.com/).
AREO, founded in January 2023 by a team with 20+ years of combined experience in retail and startups, is a young startup specializing in developing innovative solutions for supermarkets and grocery retail stores.
Our cutting-edge B2B SaaS platform optimizes workflows for employees by providing real-time access to inventory, product information, and customer inquiries. We serve large supermarket chains in Germany and across the EU.
We already hired two backend developers through "HN - Who is hiring" and are now seeking a Lead Product Engineer (Ruby on Rails) / Engineering Manager (Ruby on Rails) with a minimum of 8 years of experience (preferably in startups), as we recently closed another large contract with a major retail chain and are growing quickly.
For both the Lead Product Engineer and Engineering Manager roles, professional knowledge of German is required, and you need to be based in the EU.
If you're passionate about building innovative retail products from scratch, these roles are for you.
Backend Stack: Ruby / Rails (8.x), StimulusJS / Hotwire / Turbo, AlpineJS, Postgres, Docker, DigitalOcean, OpenAPI, LLMs
We are also seeking a Robotics Lead to help us set up and run our new robotics lab in Bremen, Germany. We are building a retail robot, initially focusing on teleoperation and later on autonomous model development. You should have at least 3 years of experience with humanoid robots, VLAs, teleoperation, and other relevant robotics systems. Professional knowledge of German is required, and you must live in or be ready to move to Bremen.
Perks: Fully remote roles in Europe for the Engineering Manager and Lead Product Engineer, work where you are most productive, sizeable equity in a rapidly growing company, flat hierarchies, no-ego work environment, work in a lean but highly experienced team.
Apply here: marius[at]goareo.com and mention "HN - Who is hiring?" and the role you are applying for in the subject.
We build the first AI-native ERP software. Competitors measure customer migrations in quarters, we offer Day-One data migration.
Backed by Google, Lightspeed and Khosla with a 90M series A, we're building a team of outliers. The people who raise the bar. The builders. The ones who move fast and consistently do exceptional work.
It's high ownership, greenfield work and many of our roles are first hires. You'll grow along with the product and the team.
