Mission/Company: We have plants to thank for nearly every aspect of our existence, from the air we breathe to the energy we consume and the food we eat. But today, plant resources, Earth’s life support system, is in need of life support. 40% of plant species are threatened with extinction. We need new ways of collaborating with plants to ensure long-term access to the plant products we need and the ecosystems that provide them. At Foray, we’re building a new operating system for plants. We use the same “hardware," the plant cell, and design ways for these cells to grow in new and productive ways. Spun out of MIT in 2022, Foray combines advanced plant biology with computational tools to reimagine how we propagate, produce, and protect plants. Our biology is already live in the lab. Our software designed to streamline plant growth workflows is entering private beta. We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer to help bring our software tools to life for a wider group of scientists, growers, and partners.
Role: You’ll be our first dedicated software hire, hands-on from day one. You’ll write code, define architecture, and lay the foundation for a software team that grows with you. You’ll work directly with biologists, engineers, and early users to translate cutting-edge science into usable, scalable tools.
You:
+ 5+ years of experience in a Software Engineering role
+ Strong experience with Python backend development, such as FastAPI and modern Python tooling
+ Expertise in frontend development with React/TypeScript and modern frameworks like Vite
+ Experience with GCP infrastructure, particularly Cloud Run, Spanner DB, and CI/CD pipelines
+ Proven ability to lead technical projects with recent, hands-on software development experience (actively building and shipping features)
+ Comfortable in early-stage environments
+ Nice-to-have: Practical experience with machine learning, data science, or computational biology; experience with predictive modeling, optimization, or inference is a plus.
+ Must be authorized to work in the United States.

We're a quantum computing non-profit organization, and we are looking for a web developer.
The job is classical — mostly building web portals — but those portals open into the quantum world.
Quantum computing knowledge is a plus, but not required. The initial project is a platform to understand the trajectory of quantum computing. The focus is on data visualization, so strong skills in that area are preferred. The candidate will work mostly alongside quantum engineers and researchers, so ownership to work independently on the classical side of things is important.
The stack of the main web project is PERN, but the organization maintains other projects in Python.

What if you built a product that helped thousands of engineers build AI features and AI agents? That is what we do at Toolhouse.
We are a high performance team working in the "infra/backend" horizontal space. We are building the infrastructure that powers AI products and agentic workflows.
We're building a team of special people that want to win in Austin.
This is no 9-5 gig. You're in or you're out. This is a startup and we need to ship code to make this thing happen. You will learn to trust your gut feeling and the data attached to any decision, and we do it all together.
We are looking for engineers who are excited to do great work. - Engineers who trust their instincts and who also love to discuss ideas and write them down. Humans invented writing, and built the future. - People who enjoy building developer tools that can really help other developers.
No BS attitude. Just engineers shipping code and having a good time doing it.
The role: You’ll work across our stack (TypeScript, Python, Postgres, Docker), building powerful backend and frontend for a population relying on function calling infrastructure, RAG, evals, and tons of data (prompts).
Perks: Equity vesting from day one, unlimited PTO, lunches, a real family outside of your own.
We’re in-person & in Austin. We do not sponsor visas.
We don't want your resume, show us what you shipped on Github - send it via email to our toolhouse.ai inbox: hello@...
Sourcetable is building a spreadsheet-based analyst. Talk to the computer, tell it what you want done, and it does the work for you.
This is a new UX, and we're looking for a great product educator to join our team to tell that story and show people how it's done.
You need to be exceptional at making product education videos. These particular videos will be related to using AI for spreadsheet analysis and ops work, flexing up into leveraging any python library you can think of for analysis and other shenanigans. That's the gig.
If you need a lot of guidance it will not be a good fit.

Equity Trust is a custodian of self-directed IRAs that gives clients the tools to manage their own retirement accounts, and to invest in a range of traditional and alternative assets. We have been helping clients steer their own retirement accounts for over 50 years, and now have over 400,000 accounts, and over $65 billion in assets, under custody. We have offices in Ohio, Florida, Texas, and South Dakota if in-person work is your jam, but fully support remote work as well.
The role: We're a team of 6, looking to add a new analytics engineer who will work across our stack (mostly Python, Typescript, AWS) to architect and build out a modern data stack to support operational, reporting, and machine learning use cases across the business. Our work is a mix of API development, data pipelines, the occasional ML side quest or two, and building out the infrastructure to reliably and scalably power it all. Generally, if you like working with data, tackling open-ended problems, and (optionally, but always nice) building cool products to help folks take a more active role in their investments --- you'll probably have a good time here!

Ascertain is a healthcare AI startup backed by Northwell (New York's largest health system) and Deerfield. We're a small team automating the painful admin work that clogs up the U.S. healthcare system — things like prior authorizations, discharge planning, and insurance claims. Our goal is simple: give time back to clinicians so they can focus on patient care, not paperwork.
We've found early product-market fit and are growing the team thoughtfully. We're hiring senior engineers across the stack: backend, frontend, and AI/LLM. We're NYC-based and hybrid (most of us come in ~3 days/week). We're not counting badge swipes — we just want teammates who want to be in the room with us often enough to build trust, have fun, and work on hard problems together!
What we're building:
* A general-purpose automation platform for healthcare ops, powered by LLMs
* A system that reads unstructured documents, fills out payer forms, and explains rejections
* Tools to automate patient discharge planning in hospitals
* A foundation for making AI in healthcare safe, observable, and human-in-the-loop
What we're looking for:
* AI Engineer — experience productionizing LLM apps (agents, RAG, embeddings); solid Python; knows how to build ML systems that ship
* Backend Engineer — strong Python/FastAPI; infra-savvy (K8s, Terraform, Docker); thoughtful about API design and scalability
* Frontend Engineer — React/TypeScript expert who's opinionated about UX and happy to dip into backend when needed
More importantly, we're looking for engineers who like open-ended, ambiguous challenges, and want to work with a tight-knit, high-trust team to solve real-world problems.
I'm a Principal Engineer here — if anything here resonates, drop me a line at john@ascertain.com or apply at our job board using https://lnkd.in/e5ZnGuqH!
MixRank processes petabytes of data every month from web crawling. We have hundreds of customers using our data products including Google, Amazon, Facebook, Intel, and Adobe, across industries including Finance, Recruiting, Sales, Marketing, and Security.
We’re a fully-remote company with a global footprint in over 20 countries. We're growing, profitable, employee-owned, no dependence on outside funding. Applicants from all geographies and backgrounds are welcome.
We are looking for passionate individuals for whom programming is not just a job but it’s something they love to do. We're obsessed with computers, programming, big data, databases, compilers, hardware, math, data science, and the internet. Does this sound like you? Please apply to join our team.
Our code base is very friendly to new contributors. You'll have a fully-functional development environment within hours (fully automated) and be pushing commits on your first day. Deployments to production happen multiple times per day and finish in less than 2 minutes. Effectively all of our codebase is written in Python, Rust, SQL, Javascript/TypeScript, and Nix. The core technologies you'll need familiarity with to be productive are Python, PostgreSQL, Linux, and Git.
We operate at a larger scale than typical startups. We operate two datacenters with high performance servers we've built that are capable of dealing with the volumes of data we process. We've implemented our own distributed file system. We do full-scale web crawls. We download and perform static analysis on the entire universe of Android APKs and iOS IPAs that are published. Unlike a typical startup where you'll spend half of your time in meetings, and the other half fixing bugs from Jira tickets— at MixRank you'll get to challenge yourself with difficult technical problems that will help you to grow as an individual.
We're hiring continuously for the positions below— they aren't singular positions that will close once filled. Our philosophy on hiring is that the candidate is more important than the position. For each new member of the team, we design a custom role and responsibilities that are specialized to their interests. Other companies will come up with a long list of specific requirements for a position with the expectation that you'll exactly replace someone from the team, or that you'll be the perfect tetris piece that satisfies the job requirements decided by a committee. MixRank is more pragmatic: we'll first get excited about having a unique individual on the team, then we'll figure out the best way to accommodate their specific talents.

I'm Scott, Founder/CEO/CTO. We're based in US but applicants from Central America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa are encouraged!
We're a Seed-stage legal tech startup working to eliminate manual doc review, the most hated part of every lawyer's early career.
Our founding team is highly experienced (I was CTO of a large analytics company through its successful exit; our CTO was a Staff Data Engineer at Reddit and his two prior companies had successful exits; our COO was the COO of an MIT Media Lab spinoff and head of product at a number of early stage startups). And although it's very much the early days of the business, our product is the best in the world at its particular niche and we already have about 20 paid customers including legal teams at some of the largest companies in the world.
We're looking for someone who is focused on the frontend (NextJS) but can flex across the stack — it would be delightful if you were comfortable dropping into the backend (Python/FastAPI/Postgres/EKS) and even more delightful if you were comfortable making design decisions since we're early enough we don't have a designer on staff. More important than any particular technical skill, we're looking for someone who has a strong product sense and is motivated by customer problems, who has strong accountability, and who is excited to be hire #2 at a rapidly growing company with all of the chaos and opportunities for growth that come with that.
If you're interested or have questions, drop an application here: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/pear/361caae7-d798-4603-b428-4ca959... or feel free to email me at josh+hn@phase.law
We are looking for talented, experienced Data Scientists who are ever curious about data problems and eager to write code to get those problems solved.
Members of this team creatively find problems as well as solve them. Much of the work is analyzing detection mechanisms and bot behaviors, making advances in realtime bot detection and mitigation, and implementing those advances in production.
The positions are on the team I lead. The data and problem are interesting, data is intrinsically useful in bot detection, and there is no shortage of challenge to working a difficult problem. Python, SQL, and Rust are some languages we're currently using for most of our work. The ideal candidate has worked as a software engineer and data scientist and wants to do both.

You'd be working with engineers who previously worked at Google, Amazon, Helsing, Darktrace and an F1 team. We build drones (software and hardware)
We're looking for engineers that straddle real world problems, and use technology as a solution. We prefer personal projects or relevant hobbies, not hard leetcode questions. We value collaboration: pair programming, discussing, teaching and learning from others. We're looking for mission-driven engineers. People who see problems in the world and want to help solve them.
You'd be working with me to build the most intuitive, performant, and modern mission planning and flight monitoring software for drones, and related applications (tools for drone design and manufacturing). For my project, we use React, Tailwind, Node, drizzle-orm, Postgres, SQLite, deck.gl, Python, FastAPI, asyncio, and more. You're allowed (and compensated) to use AI services.
Because we are a small team, you will be noticed and rewarded for performance.
*Please don’t apply if any of these resonate:*
• You prefer narrow ownership—“I only touch the backend or the code I've written”.
• You think it's more about "who you know, not what you know".
• You haven’t actively learned a new tool or hobby in the last year.
If interested, email my temporary email: hn-may25@mail.orth.uk with your CV and some personalised information about why you'd be the right fit.

American healthcare is seldom affordable, accessible, or high-quality. We are fixing this for pediatrics. Blueberry is the most affordable option amongst our competitors. We practice the highest quality pediatric telemedicine, as evidenced by our exclusive hiring of board-certified pediatricians and the usage of at-home medical kits. And, we’re accessible 24 hours a day.
Our success is shown in the lives we save, the costs we save our insurers, and our exploding B2B and D2C business.
As you can imagine, pulling off affordable high-quality healthcare is a challenge. It requires a lot of engineering ingenuity, a C-suite aligned with positive patient outcomes above short-term profits, and a great product team.
We use Django, Hotwire Turbo (an HTMX-like framework), Pytorch, Sklearn, and Flutter. Experience in these technologies helps, but what’s more important is general full-stack knowledge, curiosity, and a strong work ethic.

Purplefish is transforming the trillion-dollar talent industry with powerful AI agents that will fully automate most hiring processes end-to-end.
We are funded by 8VC, and Adam and I previously worked closely together to launch 145 companies at the venture studio Fractal Software out of a $650 million fund. Before that I was a staff software engineer at Lyft, and Adam was CRO at Wunderkind ($100m+ ARR). We've built a powerful voice agent, and are expanding into other parts of the sourcing-to-onboarding flow. We have customers, revenue is growing, and so is our team.
We're currently a team of 3 engineers in NYC (9 people total). We're working on really cool problems with multimodal AI agents (and some really not cool problems like ATS and HRIS integrations). I'm trying to build the engineering team that I would want to join, which to me means a high emphasis on agency, purpose, technical excellence, collaboration, learning and velocity. Recently A16Z mentioned us in the state of voice AI report: https://a16z.com/ai-voice-agents-2025-update/
We're building on LiveKit's agents framework, Python, and NextJS. We're having a lot of fun and having real positive impact on our customers' businesses.
If you're a great engineer let's talk: https://purplefish.com/careers
At Tandem Health we're building a clinician copilot to allow clinicians to focus on care rather than administration. We’re building, launching and iterating quickly, and already have >500 organizations using our product.
Our core product listens in to the patient-clinician encounter to generate medical records, allowing clinicians to save 5-10 minutes per patient. No longer do clinicians have to catch up on administration after hours. Some even tell us that their partners notice they're much more relaxed after starting to use our product, and we couldn't be happier :)
We're expanding our Stockholm team with exceptional engineers! We use Python (backend), TypeScript/React (frontend) and C# (Windows app) and our infrastructure runs on Kubernetes in Azure. We're scaling rapidly in terms of # of users and are especially keen to talk to senior backend engineers who have helped startups scale from thousands to millions of users.
Even if we don’t have a role out for your specific skill set, we’d love to talk! Our tech team is small but growing and you’ll have an outsized impact on an important problem.
