As one of our QA Engineers, you'll be the guardian of product excellence - thinking like a hacker, testing like a detective, and ensuring our complex systems work flawlessly in the wild. You'll go beyond finding bugs to anticipating the unexpected: edge cases, weird component interactions, and those "no user would ever do this... but what if?" scenarios that separate good products from great ones.
What You'll Own:
* Design battle-tested strategies that catch issues before customers do
* Build automated test suites that scale with our ambitions
* Hunt down bugs across complex component interactions and configurations
* Partner with dev teams to ship quality at speed
* Be the voice of risk assessment when it matters most
You Should Have:
* Critical thinking that connects dots others miss
* Deep web tech knowledge (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, CDN)
* Automation chops (Python, JavaScript, Bash)
* Experience with test methodologies and writing bulletproof test cases
* Debugging skills that turn logs into insights
* Communication skills that turn complex issues into clear actions
Why Join?
You'll be testing cybersecurity products that defend critical infrastructure against DDoS attacks – a single bug could mean the difference between stopping an attack in <10 seconds or watching a bank, power grid, or hospital go offline. This isn't just QA – it's cyber defense at the highest level.
If breaking unbreakable systems and ensuring bulletproof security for critical infrastructure sounds like your kind of challenge, come lead, code, and conquer with us: https://www.link11.com/en/jobs/qa-engineer-remote-first-f-m-...

We’re Root Sustainability. We help companies understand the environmental footprint of what they produce, starting from messy, incomplete operational data. Think tens of millions of purchase order lines, vague product descriptions, complex supply chains, messy ERP exports, and sustainability logic that does not fit neatly into spreadsheets. Our goal is to turn all of that into auditable, high-granularity insights that feel clear and usable.
We’ve recently closed a EUR 1M seed round and are growing the team across both product design and AI. We are building foundational systems, not wrappers, and we are looking for people who want to own real problems end to end.
Roles:
AI / ML Engineer
You will take the lead on everything AI inside the product. This is a hands-on role: designing, building, evaluating, and deploying LLM-powered features end to end. You will work closely with our engineering team, but you will own the AI direction from prototype to production.
Senior UX/UI Designer
You will own UX/UI end to end: research, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces that make complex sustainability domains feel obvious. You work closely with product and engineering as a partner, shaping what we build next.
What you will do (AI / ML):
Design domain-specific inference pipelines for environmental data.
Make LLM outputs stable, traceable, and reproducible.
Build structured reasoning systems, not just chat.
Use embeddings and semantic similarity to match product descriptions to impact datasets.
Evaluate models for accuracy, hallucinations, and bias.
Deploy and operate LLM workloads on AWS.
Integrate AI outputs into a Python and Postgres platform.
What you will do (UX/UI):
Lead design for key features: mapping, dashboards, workflows.
Turn fuzzy sustainability problems into clear, user-centered interfaces.
Build prototypes and run lightweight user testing.
Maintain and evolve a design system in Figma.
Ship frequently with engineers, not just hand off specs.
You should apply if (AI / ML):
You have 3 to 5+ years experience in software and or ML engineering.
You are strong in Python with hands-on LLM or NLP experience.
You have deployed AI systems in production on AWS or similar.
You think in systems and pipelines, not just prompts.
You care about evaluation, monitoring, and reproducibility.
You have a product mindset and optimize for clarity and user value.
You should apply if (UX/UI):
You have around 5+ years experience in UX/UI with a strong portfolio.
You are pragmatic: clarity over trends, iteration over perfection.
You thrive in early-stage environments with shifting priorities.
You know design systems, user research, and can defend decisions.
Bonus: data visualization experience, sustainability interest, accessibility skills.
Constraints:
Authorized to work in the EU or able to work as a contractor.
Availability overlaps with 10:00 to 16:00 CET.
Perks:
Competitive salary with stock options.
Remote-friendly or hybrid with occasional meetups.
Unlimited vacation days.
Direct impact on product direction and core systems.
Small, kind, motivated team solving hard problems together.

AI / ML Engineer: https://root-sustainability.homerun.co/ai-ml-engineer
Senior UX/UI Designer: https://root-sustainability.homerun.co/senior-ux-ui-designer

You'll help evolve the core platform: integrating agentic workflows into data exploration, pushing the performance limits of our distributed execution layer, and building powerful new analytics experiences used daily by customers. You'll have high autonomy and ownership over major parts of the product and technical roadmap, from architecture through production.
Tech stack: TypeScript, Python, Node.js, WebAssembly, WebGL, Apache Arrow/Parquet, DuckDB, Kubernetes, React.

Medical billing in America is a black box of fragmented data and inefficiency. At CareIgnition, we are building the transparency layer for healthcare. We transform massive, messy datasets into financial clarity for employers and providers.
We are looking for a pragmatic generalist. You’ll be working across the entire stack: from building customer-facing features in React and Django to architecting data pipelines that process petabytes of medical claims and rates. Crucially, this role involves deep algorithmic and analytical work. You won't just move data; you will implement the logic that makes sense of it.
We value "generalist" DNA—engineers who are as comfortable optimizing a SQL query as they are building a clean UI component. If you enjoy solving high-scale data problems that have a direct impact on healthcare affordability, we’d love to talk.
Tech: Python, Django, React, AWS (ECS, Step Functions, Athena), SQL (DuckDB/Polars), Iceberg/Redshift.

American healthcare is seldom affordable, accessible, or high-quality. We are fixing this for pediatrics. Blueberry is the most affordable option amongst our competitors. We practice the highest quality pediatric telemedicine, as evidenced by our exclusive hiring of board-certified pediatricians and the usage of at-home medical kits. And, we’re accessible 24 hours a day.
Our success is shown in the lives we save, the costs we save our insurers, and our exploding B2B and D2C business.
As you can imagine, pulling off affordable high-quality healthcare is a challenge. It requires a lot of engineering ingenuity, a C-suite aligned with positive patient outcomes above short-term profits, and a great product team.
We use Django, Hotwire Turbo (an HTMX-like framework), Pytorch, Sklearn, and Flutter. Experience in these technologies helps, but what’s more important is general full-stack knowledge, curiosity, and a strong work ethic.

Gobii is the easiest way to deploy browser-use agents in the cloud or on-premises. We're building an open-core AI workforce platform—browser-native agents and automation tools. We have paying customers.
The entire team contributes to browser-use. We also have contributors to Apache NiFi, LiteLLM, and RA.Aid (open-source coding agent I created). Open source is core to how we build and how we think. We're backed by Open Core Ventures.
HQ is San Francisco, but much of the team is in the DC area. East Coast timezone preferred, DC area even better—but we're fully remote.
What we're building: The orchestration layer for browser-use and AI agents. Systems that navigate, reason, and execute on the real web.
Who we're looking for: You've built agentic systems that shipped to production. You have opinions about tool use, context management, and why most "agents" are just glorified prompt chains. You strongly prefer working in the open—a significant part of this role is contributing to OSS repos. We strongly prefer candidates with existing open source contributions.
Why now: We have strong traction and are expanding the team. You'd be early—with real influence over product, architecture, and how we work. High autonomy, high trust, small team of people who know what they're doing.
Comp: Cash + healthcare + modest 401k match + options. In line with SF-based VC-backed startups at pre-seed stage.
Stack: TypeScript, Python, browser automation, LLM orchestration.

We are looking for passionate individuals for whom programming is not just a job but it’s something they love to do. We're obsessed with computers, programming, big data, databases, compilers, hardware, math, data science, and the internet. Does this sound like you? Please apply to join our team.
Our code base is very friendly to new contributors. You'll have a fully-functional development environment within hours (fully automated) and be pushing commits on your first day. Deployments to production happen multiple times per day and finish in less than 2 minutes. Effectively all of our codebase is written in Python, Rust, SQL, Javascript/TypeScript, and Nix. The core technologies you'll need familiarity with to be productive are Python, PostgreSQL, Linux, and Git.
We operate at a larger scale than typical startups. We operate two datacenters with high performance servers we've built that are capable of dealing with the volumes of data we process. We've implemented our own distributed file system. We do full-scale web crawls. We download and perform static analysis on the entire universe of Android APKs and iOS IPAs that are published. Unlike a typical startup where you'll spend half of your time in meetings, and the other half fixing bugs from Jira tickets— at MixRank you'll get to challenge yourself with difficult technical problems that will help you to grow as an individual.
We're hiring continuously for the positions below— they aren't singular positions that will close once filled. Our philosophy on hiring is that the candidate is more important than the position. For each new member of the team, we design a custom role and responsibilities that are specialized to their interests. Other companies will come up with a long list of specific requirements for a position with the expectation that you'll exactly replace someone from the team, or that you'll be the perfect tetris piece that satisfies the job requirements decided by a committee. MixRank is more pragmatic: we'll first get excited about having a unique individual on the team, then we'll figure out the best way to accommodate their specific talents.
-- Junior Software Engineer - Remote (Global), Full-Time
We're looking for remote junior engineers that have 0-3 years of professional experience in software, and 5+ years of curiosity exploring computers, programming, and technical hobby projects.
