Since we are dealing with complex data, a (geo-)scientific background is a plus. As a Scientific Software Developer at Skygeo, you will be operating on the interface between mathematics, geo-data analytics, and programming.

We are looking for both mid-level and senior engineers to help grow and maintain our scientific software toolchain.

If you have deployed apps to the cloud, have worked with large data sets, and value to conceptualize and build features for a growing product in a small team we would like to hear from you.

Our team is somewhat distributed between Europe and the US, while we value office time in our HQ in Delft, we are also open to remote work or hybrid in our NYC office if you can overlap with the rest of the team at core hours of 13:00 - 17:00 CET.

The application wraps and enhances Trino with a number of quality-of-life features like web-based configuration, automatic data (type) inference, etc. It runs as a VM, but we are looking to also package it as a desktop application.
