StatsBomb is a sports analytics startup, covering football (both the soccer and American varieties) and soon basketball. We sell data products as well as analysis tools to sports, media and gambling organisations, with a tech pipeline that includes computer vision, machine learning, stream processing, and web-based dataviz. We count many of the biggest names in football as customers, and your work will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver insights to those customers, driving success on the field.

We're hiring software engineers of various stripes (data pipeline roles with Python and Clojure, full-stack web dev roles with JavaScript) and more besides. We're fully remote, but have offices in Bath, UK and Cairo, Egypt for those that want them. We organise regular team days and also run our own industry-leading conference each year.

Eerlijke WOZ (https://eerlijkewoz.nl) is a fast-growing scale up in The Netherlands, with its headquarters in Amsterdam. We have a team of fiscal advisors helping every year tens of thousands of citizens lowering their taxes. Our clients and advisors need practical, accessible and dependable software systems in order to collaborate with each other and leverage our home-grown algorithms for real estate valuation and fiscal advantage determination. Our advisors need to be able to efficiently leverage and distill all of the available data from many first- and third-party sources into the winning arguments when they will bring our clients cases forward to the relevant local goverment.

Company wise we have 5 years of history, but it only took 3 to become market leaders and just 1 to achieve profitability.

Our tech team is quite international and geographically distributed, but this position requires a few days per week presence at our office so a weekly commute to Amsterdam is a requirement. We can surely appreciate the value that the right person brings to the table so we are happy to pay accordingly.

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our backend team as well as a Senior Frontend Developer. Our backend applications are mostly written in Clojure whereas our frontends are all ReactJS based applications, mostly written in Typescript.

My name’s Fred Wu, I’m an experienced Elixir and Ruby developer who has worked on multiple commercial projects as well as having released multiple open source Hex packages and Rubygems.

I work at a fintech startup as CTO, leading a small team. During Covid I've been pumping out around 40 extra hours per week on freelancing work. My day job involves mostly the non-coding part of problem solving so it's a nice mix of pace for me to keep my coding skills sharp during the evenings and on weekends.

I’ve been using Elixir for half a decade, ruby for over a decade, lead and built multiple commercial B2B & B2C SaaS projects. I’ve always been very hands on, and have worked with multiple tech stacks in the past, including JS/React, PHP, Golang, and most recently Clojure at the startup I’m currently working at.
