Treat Health is building healthcare where the right care takes minutes, not days. You describe your concern in your own words, our smart intake asks the follow-up questions a doctor would ask, and a licensed doctor reviews the whole picture and decides on the care. Prescriptions and records go straight to Kanta, Finland's national health archive.
Right now, agentic frontend engineering and agentic mobile app development matter most to us. We expect you to work across the whole stack, with our assistance and tooling.
Stack: Elixir, Phoenix LiveView, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, GCP, Cloudflare and Rust, with Swift and Kotlin for our native mobile apps. Claude is part of everyday work, from planning and coding to review. We care about how well you direct coding agents, not how fast you type.
Small team, high trust: you own problems end to end, with real influence on what we build. Health data stays in the EU, every sign-in uses strong identification, and patient data never ends up in logs.
For now, working on site in Helsinki is a must, and we can't offer relocation or visa support, so you need to already be able to work in Finland. We may hire remotely in the future, so check back later.
Compensation, details and how to apply: https://treat.health/en/careers/full-stack-engineer/
We build software that hospitals, cancer registries and researchers use. You'd own the pipeline that pulls data from hospital systems and transforms it for analytics and research.
Where Rust fits: part of our hospital data acquisition layer, the code that talks to hospital systems, is written in Rust. You'd work on both sides: Rust where performance and correctness matter most, async Python for the rest of the pipeline. Rust experience is a strong plus. Whether you learned it at work or on your own, we want to hear what you built with it.
Stack: Rust, async Python (mypy, pytest, ruff, uv), PostgreSQL and MongoDB, Dagster, Terraform/OpenTofu, AWS (ECS/Fargate, RDS, Lambda, S3), GitHub Actions.
You'll need 5+ years building backend services or data pipelines in production (retries, idempotency, schema design and migrations, well-tested and typed code) and strong Python and SQL. No healthcare background needed.
Apply: https://wellfound.com/jobs/4829721-senior-backend-software-e.... In your note, tell us in a few sentences about one pipeline failure you traced (what broke, how you found it, what you changed) and, if you've written Rust, what you built with it.
Hiring entry / mid-level full stack swe's with strong experience with Python, React/TypeScript, CSS, REST APIs, SQL/PostgreSQL, and experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and AWS cloud.

We're building an open-source no-code platform for databases, applications, and automations.
We're looking for a technical, customer-facing Product Specialist to help customers build solutions with Baserow. Ideal experience includes Airtable, n8n, APIs, databases, and automation. Fluent German and English required.
Remote-first, flexible hours, competitive salary + stock options.
Details & apply: https://baserow.io/jobs/product-specialist-baserow
We're hiring for:
Head of Engineering — Own the engineering function end-to-end as a partner to our founder CTO: strategy, people, delivery, and operations across a compact but high-leverage team. You'll grow the leaders already running our teams, set technical strategy jointly with the CTO, and be accountable for what engineering ships and what it costs.
Product Manager — Own product areas end-to-end, working closely with engineering and design to shape the roadmap and deliver a great developer experience. Engage with users, translate real-world use cases into product decisions, and help define how modern data infrastructure should feel to build with.
Customer Success Manager — Own the post-sale relationship for our data engineering and platform customers as our first CS hire. You'll build onboarding, account health monitoring, and the expansion playbook from scratch while staying technical enough to resolve most issues yourself.
Technical Product Marketing Manager — Founding product marketing hire working closely with Estuary's Head of Marketing and Developer Relations team. Help shape how we position and communicate the platform to technical audiences through product launches, messaging, technical content, demos, customer stories, and developer-facing campaigns.
Senior Growth Marketer, Content & Video — Take the technical content our team already produces and multiply its reach: slicing long-form posts into social, video, and email, running our webinar program, and owning our social and lifecycle channels. You're a hands-on writer, designer, and video editor who knows how to turn one strong piece into a dozen that actually get seen.
Senior Compliance Engineer — Own our GDPR and PCI DSS programs while keeping our audited SOC 2 and HIPAA programs running smoothly, alongside hands-on ownership of identity, endpoint, and SaaS estate management. This is a governance-first role for someone who has run a compliance program end-to-end, not just contributed to one.
What we're looking for: People who care about building reliable, maintainable systems and processes and enjoy working with complex APIs, data flows, or customer relationships. We value curiosity, clear communication, and a willingness to learn.
Bonus points for experience with CDC tools, open source contributions, or fast-paced startups.

HiO is an AI business partner for small business owners. It works across their customer conversations on Instagram, WhatsApp, SMS and email, spots opportunities and flags what needs the owner’s attention. We’ve raised a $16M seed round and we’re a small team that moves fast.
We need our first growth hire, and you’d own the growth engine end to end. That means paid social and search with real budget accountability, SEO and visibility in AI/LLM answers, landing page and signup conversion, referral, and testing new channels and killing the ones that don’t work. You’d also build the measurement layer from scratch: funnel instrumentation, CAC/LTV and activation metrics.
There’s no dedicated growth engineer, so you’ll build your own automation: AI-assisted creative testing, automated reporting and agentic campaign workflows.
What we’re looking for: 5+ years in growth at a SaaS company (SMB or PLG at seed or Series A is ideal). You’ve owned the full funnel yourself rather than executing someone else’s strategy, and you can show specific workflows you’ve automated with AI. This is a hands-on role with no team to manage near-term.

I'm Chris, founder of GIH. We're building an AI operating platform for established service businesses, starting with UK accountancy. Our model is to acquire businesses and deploy the software into their daily workflows, measuring its effect on time, quality and cost.
We've built version 1 of Helix, connecting accounting workflows, AI assistance, source evidence and review controls. It covers work including reconciliation, payroll, VAT and debtors. The next challenge is deployment in an operating practice, including production integrations, security and independent validation.
I'm looking for a hands-on CTO to own architecture and engineering delivery, write code, work with accountants and build the technical team. You should have shipped and operated customer-facing software, be comfortable with APIs and data systems, and have practical experience evaluating LLM/agent workflows. Previous CTO experience isn't essential; evidence of building and owning a product is.
We're currently fundraising and expect the round to close at the end of November 2026. You can join when the round closes or start earlier, depending on your availability and preference. Salary, equity and any arrangements before the round closes will be agreed directly. This is intended as a full-time technical leadership role.
Email chris@generalintelligencecapital.com with “HN CTO” in the subject, your CV/LinkedIn, something you built, your location and preferred start date.

Hello HN, Lisa here from Propel! We're a bunch of interdisciplinary builder-maker-designers leading a venture studio and building software for mining and deep-tech companies. Think IDEO for AI: a small senior team, direct CEO involvement, technical depth married with design craft. We are not a dev shop and not a consultancy, we're not about scope or hours, we're only about outcomes. We embed through the lifecycle of challenges and the same senior people stay on the problem.
AI agents have made engineering throughput cheap, so senior judgment is now the scarce asset: what to build, what to gate, what to trust to production. We're looking for an experienced engineer to join our small crew and play a ~70/30 build-to-lead role: - Raise the team’s bar without bureaucracy - Ship production code - Be the human PR review - Own the quality delivery system as a product - Ship spec-first - Orchestrate AI at staff level
Stack: TypeScript, React, Python, PostgreSQL, ECS/Lambda, Terraform.
We work on fascinating projects with physical implications to the world but more importantly we just really don't work with a*holes, I wake up happy to see my colleagues, the crew loves to laugh and we walk the walk.

Email lisa@propellabs.ai with a PR, design doc or postmortem you're proud of, and why this role. Always happy to jump on short calls for a mutual sus-out. It's a call for adventure, after all.

3% of children are autistic. 30% of them at age 9 remain minimally verbal: a handful of single words, never put together into a sentence. If that evokes something in you beyond the number, read on.
The Kasari Lab at UCLA, one of the top autism research groups in the world, has developed a play-based intervention that helps minimally verbal autistic children. Over 24 weeks, many make real gains in communication and social connection. But it combines assistive tech setup with play improvisation, which makes it challenging to deliver, and it is not standard practice.
You would build Visual Play, an app that takes pieces of this intervention (and others) and makes them easier for regular clinicians to do while playing with a child. You'd be embedded in the lab from day one, paired with an implementation lead who spends their weeks with clinicians. You'd own the app end to end.
Visual Play is funded by an NIH SBIR award to SKIES, a small Pasadena company started by Caltech alums. We make Visual Choices, one of the most-used communication apps for early communicators. This is a six-month Phase I; if the prototype works, Phase II follows, and so does the product.
An ideal candidate:
- is comfortable being close to, and taking feedback from, researchers and clinicians
- has shipped real native iOS apps
- uses AI as a force multiplier, but understands the code it produces and is not dependent on it
- builds large and complex, yet maintainable, systems
- is resourceful, motivated, and tenacious
- is a calm, respectful presence in a research lab
In person at UCLA, five days a week. Starting January 2027. The interview includes a 60-minute collaborative coding session, no AI assistants.

We’re a Series B trading technology company reimagining how financial markets match buyers and sellers -- applying auction theory and innovative technologies to build fairer, more efficient trading infrastructure. Our production systems are written in Rust and execute billions of dollars in securities transactions daily. If you want to work on genuinely hard problems at the intersection of markets, mechanism design, and distributed systems, we’d love to talk.
We’re hiring engineering talent companywide, with a current emphasis on these two roles:
Engineering Manager, Data Platform -- Lead and grow our data engineering team while staying close to the code. You’ll own the roadmap for the pipelines, data services, orchestration, and platform infrastructure that power our analytics, and contribute to production systems alongside your team. 8+ years of software or data engineering experience, 2+ managing engineers. Strong Python, SQL, Rust, and TypeScript. Experience with workflow orchestration (Temporal, Airflow, Dagster or similar) and columnar formats (Parquet, Arrow). Financial markets or exchange experience a strong plus. NYC-based, hybrid.
ESTIMATED COMPENSATION: $180,000--$250,000 depending on experience, with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
Hiring for multiple roles - Heven AeroTech
Hi HN! I'm Seema, part of the team at Ojin, and we're looking for our next Lead Platform Engineer.
We build AI agents that look and sound human - real face, real voice, real-time conversation. The kind of thing that makes people ask if it's actually live the first time they see it. Getting there means solving latency at a level most infrastructure can't touch, running custom frontier models for lipsync and face generation, and orchestrating all of it live across a globally distributed GPU fabric we own and operate ourselves.
This isn't a role where you maintain what someone else built. The hard problems are still open: dynamic routing and load balancing across thousands of concurrent GPU servers spanning multiple clouds and regions, keeping latency low enough that conversation feels natural, and deployment pipelines that can keep up with a product that's moving fast.
You'd set the technical direction for all of it, working directly with the founders on a 15-person team. No layers between you and the decisions that matter.
If you've worked on distributed systems at scale, care about how things are built and not just that they work, and want real ownership rather than a slice of someone else's architecture — we'd love to hear from you.
Stack: AWS, TypeScript or Go, Terraform/Pulumi/AWS CDK, Docker, serverless architectures.
Looking for: 5+ years hands-on AWS in production, strong IaC, multi-cloud experience, low-latency systems, and startup experience.
We're not able to offer relocation or visa sponsorship. If you're already in Berlin, this is a hybrid role. If you're elsewhere, we're open to fully remote within CET ±2h. Applications outside these criteria won't be progressed.
Apply or read more at https://ojin.ai and please mention you found us on Hacker News in your application. We're also hiring across sales and marketing.

ICEYE builds and operates the world's largest SAR satellite constellation. I lead the Platform organisation: three teams (Core Platform/Infra, Developer Enablement, SRE) that build the foundation our engineering ships on. Go and Python, Kubernetes on cloud and on-prem, some of it air-gapped. Terraform/OpenTofu, Istio, Vault, LGTM stack, OpenTelemetry. Mission-critical systems.
We are hiring in Espoo and our new Berlin office:
- Staff Platform Engineer: own the Kubernetes platform across cloud and on-prem, build & extend tooling in Go, set technical direction. https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/iceye/cf6ba0e9-a750-4ee7-9b0a-8cb51...
- Senior DevOps Engineer: build and run core platform components (Go, K8s, ingress, service mesh, secrets, IaC). https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/iceye/c6b51b8b-94af-4007-8464-4a4b8...
- Senior/Staff Platform Observability Engineer: own metrics, logs and traces as a product for all engineering teams, build tooling around it. https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/iceye/19a2709c-1e6d-4c8d-958a-2f07f...
What we look for: hands-on Kubernetes and cloud experience, comfort with on-prem, pragmatism and empathy for the developers you serve.
Questions? Reach me at wb@iceye.com. Apply directly.
- Engineering Manager : You will take a huge part in leading and scaling our engineering org. Unblocking, scaling, hiring, you'll still read code and hold technical opinions that impact the product. We're not looking for a pure people manager. Networking/infra background is a plus. If you've scaled a team from 0 to 20+ and seen your product scale too, I'd love to talk to you.
- Senior/Staff Backend Engineer (Go) : the control plane: peer coordination, policy and access control, multi-tenancy, and keeping it all fast as customer networks grow into the hundreds of thousands of peers.
- Network / Client Engineer (Go) — the agent side: WireGuard, NAT traversal and hole punching, relays, DNS, and shipping one client across Linux, macOS, Windows, iOS and Android. If you enjoy debugging why one connection out of a thousand won't go peer-to-peer, this is the role.
- Solutions Engineer — technical, customer-facing, pre/post-sales. You'll be the person who architects a rollout for a 500-person company's network live on a call, and a great channel back into the roadmap.
- Account Executives :)
We have an office in Berlin and mostly work CET/CEST. We'd love to have you in the office with us, but if your experience is stellar we're happy to hire remote. We're scaling quickly, so this is a chance to join early and scale with us.
Apply at https://netbird.io/careers, please mention you found us on Hacker News in your application.
We're building a self-improving IDE for running coding agents in parallel. Tens of thousands of engineers use it as their main IDE, at companies like Netflix, DoorDash and Wix. It's source-available: https://github.com/superset-sh/superset
We're 4 people, including 3 ex-YC CTOs. The work goes from the pty and stream transport up to the UI, all TypeScript. You'd own big features end to end and likely ship something in your first week.
Interviews: a 15 min call, 1 hr TypeScript, 1 hr system design, then a week with us in SF. We tell you where you stand within 48 hours of each step.
Email me: kiet@superset.sh
Cleverbase runs an API platform for online trust: qualified e-signatures, PKI, digital identity and high-assurance identity onboarding for European organisations. We’re now building towards the EU Digital Identity Wallet and the European Business Wallet. Helping customers design and ship their solutions on our platform matters as much to us as building the platform itself.
As a Qualified Trust Service Provider under eIDAS, what we ship has to be demonstrably correct, auditable and secure, and we still deploy frequently. We go beyond compliance by applying modern cryptography to better protect personal data, because our mission is everyone secure online.
Stack: JVM (Scala with Cats/Cats-Effect, http4s, fs2, doobie), gRPC, Postgres and HSMs for the trust services; TypeScript (React, NestJS, oRPC, Drizzle, Playwright) for web; standards like JSON/XML/PDF signatures and OpenID. Experience with this exact stack isn't required, but interest in cryptography or digital identity is.

We're the studio behind the artist BREAKFAST. We design and build his robotic sculptures for the Venice Biennale, Rockefeller Center, the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, Tiffany & Co. in New York, Dubai and Seoul, and private collections around the world. The largest is the world's largest kinetic sculpture: 53 feet wide, nearly 3,000 motorized tiles driven by live wind and tide data, aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. No screens, no projectors. Each piece is hundreds to thousands of motors on an RS-485 bus under a Linux host, built to run for a decade with nobody watching it, and every board, line of firmware and bracket is designed and built by 17 people in our Brooklyn studio. See them move: https://theartistbreakfast.com/works
Senior Technical Program Manager: the artist's person on the ground with a six-person senior design and engineering team. You own every schedule in Asana, pressure-test estimates, run the weekly rhythm, flag slips the day you know, and deal with clients through install. Hardware+software TPM or producer background (robotics, consumer hardware, instruments), 8–12 years, fluent across at least two of mech/EE/firmware/software/ID. $150–200k base + profit share.
Senior Electrical & Firmware Engineer: own the electronics end to end. KiCad schematic→layout→revision, stepper/BLDC drive tuning, RS-485/Ethernet bus architecture, embedded C, production test fixtures, field-failure analysis. 10+ years shipping electronics you personally owned; real motor control; power/EMI/thermal; prototype→CM. $140–200k base + profit share.
No art background needed. We care whether you're sharp, can own a thing alone, and write plainly.

Concretely, for the fixed-fee milestone structure:
Milestone 1 (week 1-2): instrument the activation and retention funnel end to end - event taxonomy, tracking, and a dashboard you can actually make decisions from. Deliverable is a written diagnosis with the three highest-leverage lifecycle drops and what each is worth in ARR.
Milestone 2 (week 3-6): build the lifecycle automation itself - onboarding email/nudge sequences, dormant-user winback, and cancellation-save flows, wired to the product so behavior triggers them rather than a manual send.
How I would work: start by reading the existing signup flow and instrumenting before changing anything, so milestone 2 is driven by observed drop-off rather than my assumption of where it is. I would want to agree the milestone boundaries before starting either.
Two questions so I can quote accurately: what is the current activation rate and the trial-to-paid conversion you are working from? And is the fixed fee negotiable against a smaller first milestone if the diagnosis itself is useful?
To be direct about fit: I am proposing scope and milestones rather than claiming a track record I cannot show you here.
Flowstate (https://www.flowstate.inc) is building infrastructure for the emerging human + AI workforce.
Companies are rapidly adopting Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot and internal agents, but most still have very little idea what that AI is actually doing, what it costs, what work it contributes to or whether it is making the organisation better.
We’re building the systems underneath that: an AI router and proxy, native macOS and Windows apps, attribution infrastructure that connects AI activity back to work and tools for understanding how humans and AI should operate together inside a company.
We’re a small early-stage team and this is a genuinely broad founding engineering role. You’ll work across product, infrastructure, integrations, desktop apps, AI systems and whatever else needs building. We’re looking for someone who has worked in an early-stage startup before and actually enjoys the pace, ambiguity and ownership that comes with it.

Most of the code a team ships is third-party, and scanners flag hundreds of vulnerabilities in it. depproof tells you which few attackers are actually exploiting, so you fix those first. It runs inside your own environment, and your code never leaves.
We're a small, founder-led company looking for a part-time sales lead who has sold to security or engineering teams: running first conversations, shaping the pitch, and closing our first customers.

We just filled one Staff Engineer role directly from my last LinkedIn post (thanks to everyone who shared/applied). Now we’re expanding the team:
- 1 Staff Software Engineer - 4 Senior Software Engineers - 4 Software Engineers (new grad / early career)
All roles are US-based (remote within the US).
We’re a small team owning the core platforms that run manufacturing, operations, and logistics. A lot of the work is greenfield or foundational: distributed systems, workflow orchestration, reliability/observability, and making it all scale in a domain where correctness actually matters.
Tech stack: Java / Spring Boot, React / Next.js, Azure (Service Bus, Kubernetes), SQL Server. Event-driven, service-oriented architecture at enterprise scale. We use AI-assisted development heavily in the workflow (not as a bolt-on), so if you already lean on tools like Copilot/LLMs, you’ll be at home.
We’re setting up a round-robin “Virtual Interview Day” early next week so we can run both interview rounds in a single day for candidates who advance. The process is straightforward: practical discussions, system design, and code; no brainteasers.
If you: - like thinking in terms of systems and failure modes, - are comfortable across the stack (or want to grow there), - and want your work to have direct impact on how a real business operates,
then I’d like to talk.

Purchasely is an in-app monetization platform: app teams design, launch and A/B test paywalls and onboarding screens without shipping an app update. Our SDKs (iOS, Android, Flutter, React Native, Cordova) are embedded in our customers' apps, so if our SDK crashes, someone else's app crashes. Stability, binary size, backward compatibility and clean public APIs come first.
You'll be a hands-on engineer on a small mobile team, owning the native iOS SDK: [StoreKit 1/2, UIKit/SwiftUI rendering, public API design, release process]. You'll also work directly with customers' engineering teams on tricky integrations, so you should enjoy reading other people's code and explaining yours.
We're looking for [5+] years of iOS with strong Swift, ideally with experience shipping a library or SDK used by third parties. Fluent French is a must: the engineering team works in French daily. Professional English is a must: our customers are located worldwide and support is in English, we also have coworkers from all over the world.
Process: no take-home. One 1h30 live technical session during the interview.
Direct applicants only, no agencies.

We are software builders at  CEO is a software engineer, COO is a software engineer, and you guessed it, CTO is an engineer, too. We are engineers, making the tools we always wanted. If you love building amazing software, you're at the right address.
We are looking for software engineers who, given enough time, could build Better Stack on their own = looking for full-stack product engineer generalists to help us create high-quality software with exceptional UX, end-to-end.

We're building Tenki, Luxor's compute platform for developers and AI agents: faster, cheaper GitHub Actions runners, code-review agents, and isolated sandboxes where agents run code. Next up: agent workflows and CPU/GPU compute.
Tenki was built by the founding team behind Luxor Technology, a leading provider of Bitcoin mining and AI infrastructure. Teams like Anchor, Omnara, and Naive already rely on it, and MAU has grown ~3.5x since April. We're building the infrastructure layer for the next generation of AI companies, and we want Tenki to be the go-to platform for AI teams worldwide. Now we need someone to sell it.
You've sold technical products to technical buyers and can talk CI pipelines and infra costs without hiding behind a sales engineer. Dev tools or cloud infra experience is a big plus.
What you'll do: - Own the full cycle, from prospecting to close to expansion - Turn self-serve signups into revenue - Work closely with engineering and product, and bring customer feedback into the roadmap - Build the playbook from scratch - Show up at SF meetups, hackathons, and dev events
You'd be the first sales hire on a small, technical team. No playbook yet, full ownership.

We're a consumer fintech with 20M+ users who trust us to budget, save, invest, and bank in one place. Profitable for 4+ years. And as of today, our average employee tenure is 3.6 years, a number you almost never see in startup tech, and one we're quietly proud of. People stay because the work is good, the people are sharp, and we've built something worth staying for.
Now we're building net-new consumer products from zero, and we're looking for people who love to tinker and build stuff to ship them with us.
The kind of person we're looking for: • Top fraction of a percentile in craft, the kind of good that's hard to fake • Builds for fun, not just for work. The kind who ships a working prototype over the weekend and can't help themselves • Comfortable owning 0 to 1 consumer products end-to-end • Allergic to politics, theater, and bureaucracy
What you get: • Remote, anywhere with reasonable timezone overlap (and for someone truly exceptional, we'll make async work) • Real scale from day one (20M+ users, real money, real consequences) • Compensation that beats the market. We pay well and we mean it. Base, discretionary year-end bonus, meaningful 401(k) match, and meaningful equity in a profitable, growing unicorn (the kind that's actually worth something) • Platinum PPO health benefits with Blue Shield, top of the top of the line, covering your entire family • A mission worth your time: make money simple, so people spend less time managing it and keep more of it • Small senior-heavy teams, direct ownership, no layers • Forthcoming with the business metrics that matter, so you always know how the company is actually doing • The startup perks done right: catered lunches, wellness stipend, team offsites, casual dress. The stuff that compounds when you're showing up engaged for years, not months • Profitable for 4+ years, so you build with conviction, not runway anxiety
Stack: python, claude, postgres, react.js /react native

Also, we carefully review every application. If we think there may be a fit, we'll reach out within a few business days. Either way, thank you for your interest in what we're building and for taking the time to connect with us.
Greenzie builds the autonomy software that runs on commercial mowers. We don't sell the iron — Wright, Mean Green, Bobcat, and Greenworks Commercial do, with our stack on them. Mission is to free humans from repetitive outdoor labor. The software is on hundreds of machines in the field today.
We're hiring an experienced roboticist who wants production robots doing real outdoor work, not lab demos. C++, Python, ROS/ROS2. You'll own a subsystem, debug messy field data, and ship to machines that mow for a living.

Rentman is B2B SaaS that event and media production teams in 70+ countries use to manage gear, crew and scheduling. 100+ people, office in Utrecht and Toronto.
DevOps Engineer: own our AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, observability and cloud security. The main projects are moving from ClickOps to infrastructure as code and getting Fargate and Kubernetes onto one standard. You've led an IaC migration (Terraform/Pulumi/CDK) and you write code. https://rentman.io/jobs/devops-engineer
Senior Frontend Developer: build the onboarding flows, data import tools and setup wizards that get new customers live fast. Angular SPA with 3,500+ components and AG-Grid; we move to new Angular versions within weeks of release. Angular is a plus but not required; 3+ years as a senior in product-led SaaS is. https://rentman.io/jobs/senior-frontend-developer-customer-l...

Fraud reaches people through ads, cloned brand sites, counterfeit shops and AI-generated video, and it moves faster than any manual review. InfoHawk detects it while it is still running, correlates it across platforms and formats, and surfaces it early enough for our customers to act. We are a small team of engineers plus security, privacy and fraud specialists. Pre-seed, $2.25M led by Moonshots Capital: https://www.infohawk.com/news/2026-06-08-pre-seed-funding-an...
You’d own how data gets in: scrapers and collectors that survive source changes, official APIs where they exist, undocumented endpoints where they don’t. Sources break constantly. Can you figure out how to use AI to spot the change and adapt automatically? Stack: TypeScript, Node, SvelteKit, Postgres, Playwright, heavy AI-assisted development.
We’re looking for ~3-5 years building scraping or integration systems in production, but if you’re a great engineer who doesn’t tick every box we’d still like to hear from you. UK-based for London, US-based for NYC; we cannot sponsor visas. Two of our three founders are engineers, one in each city, and you’ll work with them directly.

Axmed runs a live B2B marketplace connecting healthcare providers in low- and middle-income countries with pharmaceutical suppliers, working to make sure geography and income never stand between someone and the medicine they need. Backed by the Gates Foundation and Founderful. We're past proving it works and into scaling it — this role is what takes us there.
You'll design and ship autonomous agents that run real steps of the marketplace (sourcing, quoting, order matching, supplier follow-up) on real transactions and real money, with a human in the loop only where risk demands it. Not research: you consume LLMs via API and build the judgment, guardrails, and monitoring around them, end to end, and own what you ship.
Stack: Python, LangChain/LangGraph/LlamaIndex/CrewAI (your choice), LLM APIs, cloud infra, CI/CD.
No visa sponsorship/relocation.

We're building AI to predict clinical trial and drug development outcomes, and quantify how much confidence those predictions deserve. By linking the evidence available at a decision to the judgement made and what happened next, we aim to learn which experimental findings predict outcomes in which therapeutic settings. The platform is already running, with work from an Allen Institute collaboration described in this preprint https://elman.ai/preprint.
We want a hands-on technical co-founder to lead development, build the evaluation programme and hire the first technical team once funded. Benchmark design, applied statistics and production LLM systems. The modelling approach is open. Biology experience useful, not required.
Founder equity.

Revieve (Helsinki, with a US office and a team in Asia) builds AI, AR and computer-vision personalization for beauty brands and retailers: skin analysis, virtual try-on and product recommendations. We work with 120+ brands and retailers in 40+ countries, and our product reaches millions of end users.
We're a small team (30+ people, about a dozen engineers) spread across eight time zones, and we've reorganized around the idea that one builder with the right tools can do what a team used to. This role exists because we believe that.
A typical week: a real customer problem lands in front of you with full context, and you decide what to build. Tuesday you sketch it in an AI design tool and prototype in Claude Code. Wednesday it's on staging and you send the founders a Loom. Thursday it's in production. About 1-2 hours of meetings a week, mostly async. No standups, no sprints, no PM or designer in the loop.
What we're looking for:
- Public proof of building: repos, products or side projects we can click around - AI in production, with an opinion about agents, evals, latency and what fails - Fluency with agentic coding (Claude Code, Codex, MCP, custom harnesses) - Design taste: you can take an idea to a working interface without a designer - Generalist instincts: TypeScript/React up front, comfortable with backend integrations and infra - Clear written thinking: READMEs, PRs, post-mortems
Process: intro call, then a paid build session where we work on a real problem together (that's where the hire decision happens, for both sides), a short presentation to the team, then an offer.
Perks: flexible hours, performance-based option plan, equipment budget, five weeks' vacation, paid parental leave.

We are a fast-growing AI startup. We help SMEs find where AI will produce a measurable return, then build the systems that deliver it: AI agents, Claude skills and production-grade business software, up to full business and enterprise systems. Stack: Claude Code, Vercel, Supabase.
A good fit for software engineers moving into AI engineering:
- Two weeks of paid AI training in our framework and methods before your first project.
- Projects typically run over several months, and each one is substantial.
- Large token limits for every contractor.
You need to: read code in Python, JS/TS, SQL, HTML/CSS and Bash; design and build databases; use Git and GitHub confidently; and be professional and clear on client calls. The senior role also needs complete products or systems you have designed and shipped.
Nice to have: Claude Code or similar AI tools, building Claude skills, embeddings and vector databases, Vercel/Supabase, project or account management.
Process: introductory interview, short practical exercise, final interview. Starting as soon as possible.

Every business with many locations already has systems that record what happened yesterday. None of them tell the manager what to do today. Opaxa does. It reads the systems a business already runs, learns how that operation actually works, and puts the right decision in front of the right manager: how busy tomorrow will be, who to schedule, what to order, which invoice overcharged you. Then it tracks what each decision earned.
Our founder runs a restaurant company with more than 40 locations and over 750 employees. Opaxa was built inside it to solve its own problems, and it runs there every night. We're well funded and now expanding to other multi-location operators: restaurant groups, stadiums and campuses, hotels, retail.
You'd be the second engineer, working with our founding engineer, who owns the architecture, and with the sales and product team. You'd take new features from spec to production, spend real time with the managers who use them, and turn what they tell you into shipped changes within days. As we bring on new clients, you'd lead getting them live. TypeScript/React, Python, Postgres, AWS, and AI tools every day.
This is an early, high-intensity role for someone who wants a lot of ownership and to move fast. US work authorization required. No agencies or contract firms.
To apply, email colton@opaxa.com with the subject "Forward Deployed: your name, your city" and include: your resume or LinkedIn; a link to something you built that real people use, and what you personally did on it; two or three sentences on a time a user's feedback changed what you shipped; and where you're based. We read every email.
Odoo builds open-source business apps used by millions. We're hiring software developers to work on our Python/PostgreSQL backend, fast JS framework, mobile apps, website builder, and more.

- €10k signing bonus - Visa sponsorship + relocation support (contains flight ticket + airport taxi + 1 month free housing) - No clients, no deadlines — just clean, open-source code - Pick your team after 3 weeks of onboarding - Great team, countryside office (with chef!), flexible hours
You:
- Master a programming language - Proficiency in object-oriented programming - Strong in SQL and relational database, data structures, and DB design - Passionate, autonomous, and eager to build real stuff

We build Percy, an agent that runs financial-crimes investigations for banks and fintechs. It clears false positives, escalates real risk, and writes the case narrative and audit record a regulator will read. Under it sits four years of identity infrastructure: verification, an AWS Nitro Enclave-backed vault for PII, and the APIs our customers call directly. The backend is Rust.
We're hiring three Members of Technical Staff:
- Backend: the Rust APIs and services behind verification, vaulting, and the checks Percy runs. Production Rust is ideal; deep systems experience plus a real wish to learn it also works. Crypto or systems-security background counts for a lot.
- Infrastructure: own agent compute, isolation, deploys and observability across Rust services and long-running agents. Rust, Postgres/Aurora, AWS (ECS/Fargate), Pulumi/Terraform, Datadog, OpenTelemetry.
- Security: protect identity data we vault on behalf of regulated banks and fintechs, and prove to auditors every step was done right.
Small, senior team. Backed by QED, Index and BoxGroup. Customers include FDIC- and OCC-regulated banks plus Bilt, Nuvei and MoonPay.
Apply: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/footprint. I'm the recruiter and will answer questions in this thread.
Most non-tech businesses know exactly which workflows they want AI agents to handle, but have no one to build, connect and run them. Pond delivers custom AI agents to these businesses through a network of 7k AI builders, with Pond as the platform and security layer over MCP.
We're backed by Tier-1 VCs and a co-inventor of GPT, and we're looking for a hands-on technical leader to own the platform end to end.
You'd be a great fit if you:
- Build full-stack and ship AI agents in production (TypeScript/Python, LLMs, tool use)
- Have worked on payments, agent coordination/MCP, or platform/marketplace products
- Have early-stage startup experience (founder, founding or early engineer) and like to grind
Email dylan@joinpond.ai with something you've built.
Mattermost (https://mattermost.com) is an open-core collaboration and workflow automation platform for air-gapped, on-prem and private clouds. Our customers are in defense, intelligence, security and critical infrastructure, including the USAF and NASA. Y Combinator led our Series B, their largest open-source investment at the time.
Both openings are full stack on the core platform: Go backend, React/TypeScript frontend, PostgreSQL and Redis. The codebase is public (https://github.com/mattermost/mattermost), so most of what you build is too. We would rather hire people who ship and own complex software end to end than chase an exact stack match, so any systems or backend language and any frontend stack counts. What we look for in both roles: REST and WebSocket APIs with real networking fundamentals (HTTP, connection lifecycle), and relational databases including schema design and query optimization.
We use coding agents daily (Claude Code, Cursor, and others) at every stage of the work: planning, building, reviewing, testing, and shipping. We treat that as core craft rather than a shortcut around the fundamentals. If you have a track record of shipping and owning complex software end-to-end, we want to hear from you.
Senior Full Stack Engineer $142,723 - $172,723 USD Architect and ship full stack features end to end, own the testing strategy for what you ship, and build internal tooling and testing infrastructure that makes the rest of the team faster. You will work without close supervision and hold the security and compliance bar our customers require. Nice to have: distributed systems and high availability architecture, regulated-environment security, open-source contributions, experience on remote-first teams.
Join our team: https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/mattermost/jobs/5379251008
Staff Full Stack Engineer $172,724 - $227,135 USD Set technical direction for the platform rather than for a feature area: architecture and roadmap across the stack, the standards for how the org uses coding agents, and the strategy for internal tooling and testing. You will influence direction across teams, partner with security and compliance on it, and mentor senior engineers. Nice to have: staff, principal or tech lead experience elsewhere, open-source maintainership, FedRAMP or ITAR familiarity, defense or critical infrastructure background.
Join our team: https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/mattermost/jobs/5405811008

We are a people-first, boutique tech agency creating on-demand teams and software solutions for long-standing clients. These clients trust us to practice engineering excellence as though we were members of their own staff. Our leadership team is ex-Fortune 100 with software engineering backgrounds: we’re still coding. Notable recent projects include a gigantic ERP migration for Anduril, and working with Surge Labs to help develop some of the frontier LLM models from the big guys themselves (yes, seriously). This is a remote-first agency, but some projects involve onsite work.
I’m the founder and CEO, and I’m trying to do what I call “enlightened business”. I take responsibility for both staff and clients, and I look for people who approach their work with a similar sense of ownership.
We continue the hiring push we were running last month too: our current work would especially benefit from from ai-forward senior engineering expertise that can design RL benchmarks, red-team model outputs, and create rubrics to evaluate and enhance the agentic coding capabilities of various frontier models. We received 216 applications in our August posting, and issued offers to approximately 10 (still following up with a few).
Applicants must meet a high bar - I intend to have a personal relationship with every hire. In return you’ll get:
* Flexibility and a low-bureaucracy environment * Clients that won’t treat the vendor like “the B Team” * The chance to act as a code architect, not just implement tickets * Exposure to a wide variety of industries and modern challenges * Me as your personal champion and advocate Feel free to submit, even if you already did in the past.Current roles available:
Back-end, Front-end, and Full-Stack Software Engineers, Tiers 3 and 4 (Typescript/Javascript, React, NextJS; Ruby on Rails; Python; DevOps, and third-party API integrations)
Tier 3 roles are typically 5-10 years experience with $140-$180K total comp. Tier 4 roles are 11-20 years experience, $210-$264K total comp. Higher tiers exist, and we always welcome exceptional applications.

Ongoing contract across several B2B products on one design system. First pass is a fixed-price flows-and-kit package, then hourly as each product grows. Not a full-time seat.
Engagement: Ongoing 1099 contract. Milestone prices are set against a frozen spec. This is not a full-time seat.
First package: A fixed-price flows-and-kit package, about three weeks. After that, $50–75/hr as each product grows.
Location: SF Bay Area, hybrid, with in-person working sessions for kickoff and reviews.
Start: Immediately after selection.
Level: Mid-level welcome. You work directly with the founding CTO. Early sessions are for breaking the product down together. After that, scope is deliverable by deliverable.
ABOUT THE STUDIO: We are a small Bay Area product studio. Several products, one stack, one visual language. You own the UX with us: who the user is, what they are trying to finish, what belongs on each screen, and what happens when it fails. Later products reuse the same tokens, components, and patterns so customers and our engineers are not learning a new UI every time.
The products are B2B web apps: dashboards, media and content libraries, status views, and auth and access-gate states. The first product in the queue is a digital signage CMS. Store owners upload content, build playlists, pair outdoor Android screens from a phone, and see what is playing. The app is a mobile-first PWA. The screen on the sidewalk has its own states: setup QR, downloading, no content, and error.
You take a real part in that breakdown. Bring a point of view on structure, priority, and what to cut. Sit with us and map the flows before the high-fidelity screens exist. When a familiar admin layout is the wrong job for the task, say so and show the alternative.
The screens still have to ship. We start from a Tailwind UI / shadcn component kit. Buttons, inputs, tables, cards, and dialogs stay that anatomy, restyled with our brand: color, type, radius, and density. Page structure, hierarchy, and flow are yours. Every screen is composed from those components, with tokens that map to our Tailwind theme, so the frontend team builds from the system.

Role: Senior Software Engineer, 3D Measurements --> https://hover.to/job-posts/7723481
We are writing software that generates 3D models of buildings. The construction and insurance industry uses those models to derive metrics, estimate construction/repair cost (think water damage due to flooding, wind damage etc.) and accelerate claims processing. Our long term ambition is to have an accurate and up to date 3D model (digital twin) of every building on the planet. Hover is expanding the team on many fronts. The 3D Measurements team in particular is looking for talented & experienced software engineers that have proven experience designing and implementing systems for 3D modeling, reconstruction, or CAD-related software and that bring a solid foundation in geometry and 3D math.
If you're interested in working with us, please apply online at https://hover.to/careers/#open-roles. Mention you're from HN and let us know what you've been working on lately.
New Lantern is building an AI radiology resident—think Cursor for radiologists. Our application integrates the three software tools radiologists use all day [1], together with AI, to create a platform that saves radiologists toil and lets them focus on reading images and finding disease.
We are a series A startup with ~20 engineers (~40 total staff), have a number of live customers generating revenue, plenty of runway, and are backed by Benchmark, Anthropic, and other great investors. Our customers have told us they would cry if they couldn't use our product anymore.
We're hiring for backend and product engineering, as well as a founding recruiter to help us scale. You'll work directly with our founder/CEO, our staff radiologists, and our end users to build a product that radiologists rely on daily. Paradromics is building a high bandwidth brain-machine interface for clinical use. The implant we built is restoring function to patients by streaming out neural data from specific brain regions in real time, which we convert to e.g. speech using machine learning. Check out our recent article in the NYT: https://archive.ph/C6CRb .
We're looking for help in further developing and hardening our embedded Linux components, which work in tandem with FPGAs and our custom ASICs to read out neural data. Some of the ongoing efforts are: HIL testing on real devices, integrating new sensor ASICs, maintaining our Yocto build system, exploratory work on prototypes, improving our clinical UX, and improving the core code that receives and massages data. The code is largely written in Rust with a little Typescript, (and bash, and bitbake recipes, etc).
