One of our metrics is how little time you spend in the app. We're explicitly opposed to the dopamine-fueled mini-game doomswiping of 'traditional' dating apps which cynically monetizes desperation. We're monetizing intent!
* We're top-tier VC funded, small team of 2 cofounders (Snapchat, Bumble), a CTO from Snap/Clubhouse, and 3 engineers, based in NYC.
* Stack is Django, OpenAI, Flutter, Rust
* Looking for a Mid-level Engineer who is an all-arounder. Backend more important than front-end code, but if can also work on client code (or want to learn) that would be ideal.

Iterum is a seed-stage startup revolutionising appliance management for scaled residential properties. Our platform, Iterum IQ, is addressing a critical but overlooked challenge in property management: the inefficient handling of home appliances and consequential lack of actionable data. These things together lead to significant costs, wasted time, and increased carbon emissions. Our mission is to streamline appliance procurement and management, delivering substantial cost savings for property operators and investors, enhancing resident experiences, and reducing carbon footprints at scale.
We’re looking for a talented and ambitious mid level (at least 3-5 years experience) full stack developer to join as our Engineering Lead. You’d work with me - the (fractional) CTO - as well as the (full time) Head of Product and the rest of the team to get Iterum IQ from MVP to scale.
Our tech stack is Django with SSR, PostgreSQL, Bootstrap, HTMX, and a couple of other tools and services. You should be familiar with Django and strong on the backend side, at least competent on the (web) frontend side and with (cloud, at this point) infrastructure management. We’re a small team, so you’d work on pretty much everything.
You’d need to already be based in or near London. The job is onsite, though hybrid is fine.

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate the system without help. Using proprietary technology to match patients with experienced advocates, Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare and helps individuals and families make informed decisions that result in better outcomes.
Solace is a Series A startup founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures and Torch Capital. We have a lean, fully-remote U.S. team distributed coast-to-coast.
We're hiring across engineering, product, design, growth and clinical operations.

Healthcare professionals have to spend too much time on administrative tasks when they should be spending that time delivering great care. Attendi allows healthcare professionals to report with their voice. This saves them precious time and removes the screen between client and caregiver, allowing more personal and effective care to be given. Burdened by an aging population, the healthcare sector is in desperate need of innovators like Attendi. We feel that we provide an extraordinary work environment: getting paid well to work with smart people on things that actually have a positive impact on society.
Attendi has built a strong user base with its API-first speech-to-text solutions and client SDKs, loved by healthcare professionals via integrations with electronic health record (EHR) vendors. Currently, users interact with our products only within their EHR systems — but why stop there? We want to enable them to benefit from our tools anytime, anywhere.
As a Frontend-Focused Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing our new (greenfield) products to support this ambition:
Attendi’s first external full-stack app — which we see as the healthcare sector’s notepad. Our aim is to make it the default write-layer for medical data. But it’s far more than a simple notepad: speech-to-text and machine learning will be deeply integrated.
We have a dedicated team with fewer than 25 members, which means no bullshit, moving fast, and getting a generous slice of equity. We're post product-market fit, profitable, and on the cusp of scaling up in the Dutch market.
Check out https://attendi.recruitee.com/o/senior-frontend-engineer-web for more details on the position.
Feel free to send any questions to berend [at] attendi [dot] nl.

Narrative has been building a data collaboration platform designed for simplicity and ease of use since being founded in 2016.
Our primary strength is functioning as a data marketplace where we differentiate ourselves by:
- Automatically standardizing data, simplifying the user experience by eliminating the need to deal with n representations of the same underlying concept from different suppliers.
- Making platform data accessible through the Narrative Query Language (NQL) and easy-to-use UIs powered by NQL. This enables users to transform, deduplicate, and filter data instead of selecting from a set of provider-defined, pre-packaged datasets.
- Giving data providers the ability to define row-level access and pricing policies for their data.
We are a small, remote-first team looking for someone with experience working on query compilers or query execution systems in general. While the company's headquarters are in NYC, the development team currently includes engineers working from the US (California and New York), Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, and Québec), Poland, and Serbia.
In brief, the technologies we use are:
- Scala, Spark, Apache Iceberg, Apache Calcite, Cats, Cats-Effect, Http4s, FS2, Doobie, Deequ, Axolotl, BentoML, and HuggingFace Transformers. We love functional programming and make use of libraries like Cats, Cats-Effect, and FS2, but we keep a pragmatic stance on purity given our exposure to the Spark ecosystem.
- Our services are deployed on AWS and provisioned using Terraform. We leverage the usual suspects: Fargate, EMR, RDS, Lambda, etc. and we're starting to lean into Kubernetes. Being a small team, we think twice before rolling out custom infrastructure that we'll need to monitor and maintain.
- On the frontend, we use Typescript, VueJS, PrimeVue, Nuxt, and Vite.

These machines are like a two-story building with many variations, every aspect has to be well-defined and validated before it's ordered.
In our solution products can be modeled in detail with constraints, and during a sale options are chosen and validated, often visualized parametrically, pricing is done, and a quote is prepared. All based on the well-defined model.
It's a 30-year old company that started as a research startup, grew organically, and has a stable customer base. After a recent acquisition it's aiming to grow, therefore many positions are open. I started working here just a year ago, but I can say the work environment is healthy and relaxed, lots of competent people and everyone I interacted with so far have been very nice and professional.

We're building the protocol layer for collective AI agent intelligence. Our core insight is enabling mutually distrusting agents to exchange and validate experiences via a shared memory layer, transforming isolated learning into compounded network intelligence (think Git/OSS for agent experiences). This is crucial infrastructure for the future agent economy. Incubated by Moonsong Labs (Kluster.ai, Moonbeam, Tanssi).
Seeking a hands-on, visionary CTO & Co-founder to architect our system (AI, distributed systems, data, infra), build the founding engineering team, and drive technical strategy. This involves deep work in multi-agent systems, collective learning, secure execution, and potentially novel consensus/incentive mechanisms.
Must have: Proven leadership in AI infra (CTO/VP/Founder/Lead Scientist). Expertise in GenAI/RL/DL/MLOps/PyTorch. Experience with agent frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, etc.) and distributed/federated AI concepts. MSc required, PhD strongly preferred. Strategic thinker passionate about building developer ecosystems.
Nice to have: Blockchain/Web3/tokenomics experience.

Chorus One operates validators on many proof-of-stake blockchains (the ones where security is based on a Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus algorithm rather than wasting energy). We are hiring for several roles, but the one I will highlight is what we call Platforms Engineer. Some companies call this Site Reliability Engineering or Devops.
The main thing we do is take upstream software, build it, run it on our infrastructure, and then monitor it and optimize that setup. Some things that make this interesting are:
* Building automation that enables us to do this for many networks (70+ currently). * Doing this with high uptime, building automation for failover, etc. * Working with software that is on the one hand cutting-edge and doing interesting things (consensus algorithms, distributed systems, cryptography), but on the other hand that means it’s immature and often not easy to operate and monitor. Often we have to build custom tools, and dive into the source code of the project. We contribute patches upstream when it makes sense. * Some of these projects are exercising the limits of what a machine can do, we have to do some low-level investigation that requires understanding of what the Linux kernel and network hardware are doing to properly identify what’s going on. We do have a small cloud footprint, but run primarily on bare metal. We are looking for people who can not just configure services offered by the public clouds, but who deeply understand what lies below; people who could build their own cloud. That sounds a bit pretentious and it’s not exactly what we do, but it does involve many of the same aspects.A recent example of what I personally find fascinating: last month Ethereum’s Holesky testnet experienced loss of liveness. This is a real-world, globally distributed system that implements Byzantine fault tolerance, with multiple independent implementations of the protocol. Several of these implementations had a bug in an update, which caused a split in the network. The protocol is designed to handle this situation in theory, but in practice it is triggering previously unexplored failure modes in the implementations, that are hard to test for in synthetic small-scale tests. I think there are very few places where you get to be involved in a planet-scale distributed system exhibiting “interesting” behavior, especially one that is not in control of a single entity. Of course, there is also the less fun part that the testnet was broken, alerts are firing, and it was hard and chaotic to coordinate a fix when the network is not controlled by a single entity. Fortunately it’s a testnet.

No bullshit interview process. I’ll probably chat with you for about half an hour about your relevant experience. I might ask to see some of the code you've written in the past. No take-home assignments. If there’s promise, you may be invited to work with us for one or two weeks, paid.
For students or recent graduates, we have a few internship openings. We’re happy to train people who show strong interest and solid foundational skills.

Dirac is building the next Walmart-sized retail company over 10+ years. We sell d2c and are doing £300k-£500k monthly sales (lots of toys and reasonably seasonal). I built most the initial systems which run the company’s backend (purchasing, databases, pipelines etc.) but we will need something (and someone!) better to reach £1bn+ sales over the next four years
We need to go from a bunch of bash scripts coordinated by systemd, adhoc estimators and pipelines to a more coherent machine for demand estimation, matching products, warehousing and purchasing.
You’ll be mostly writing code (django+postgre+a hetzner server) but also helping our two more junior devs.
The vision for the company is twofold: (1) find 1000s of suppliers and wholesalers worldwide and (2) to ingest all their pricing, logistics and then move stock to where prices and demand is highest.
Visa sponsorship possible.
Investors include will thorndike, charlie songhurst, patio11, backedvc and some others!

Our team creates services powered by LLMs and traditional ML to enable features across our suite of products. Like many companies, we are trying to separate the real value of the latest AI techniques and tools from the hype (agents?), and unlocking use cases that actually benefit our customers. This role is a rather generalist role for someone with a strong ML background, 2+ years of work experience (post schooling), and a desire to work on both proof of concept and production systems. You would be joining our small AI/ML team as we continue to automate as much as possible and enable new product features and use cases.
FinQuery makes software to help companies comply with new lease accounting regulations, manage financial contracts, and keep track of recurring and one-off payments. We're based in Atlanta, but support fully remote employees in the US. This is an IC role.
We are also hiring for roles in DevOps, marketing, and more.
We believe SMBs are the backbone of American society and small business ownership is the best path to wealth creation and economic mobility for many Americans. We're trying to dramatically lower the activation energy in just one of the major hurdles for aspiring small business owners: accounting and bookkeeping.
Our approach is working! We embed directly within an SMB's primary business platform, manage all the data syncing & reconciliation for them, and have real humans (with real AI tooling) handling their books. We do this at ~half the cost of existing bookkeeping services and it's still profitable for us because we're saving so much time with our data access + AI.
Adoption is taking off faster even faster than we hoped and we need to grow the team! We're a team of 5 who like working with a high ownership and high throughput collaboration. We have serious technical challenges across scaling systems, data modeling, and building AI-driven automations of tedious tasks.
Our hiring philosophy is simple.
1. The early engineering team isn't just building products, it's setting the culture, practices, and standards for the whole org. Find teammates who have the appetite and agency to go beyond excellent code.
2. No one knows more than 10% of what they need to be successful at an early stage startup. Find teammates with the highest trajectory of learning and growth and give them as much opportunity and responsibility as they want.
3. We talk to real small businesses with real problems every single day. Find teammates who want to win by making our customers successful day in and day out.

AO Labs is an applied AI research lab building real-time reinforcement learning, unlocking AI that can be hyper-personalized with less data than LLMs.
Our first product is an API that learns by combining end-user context, application data, and a feedback signal (eg. an end-users' likes and dislikes) in a fast learning loop that's lightweight enough to provision a distinct agent per-user. There's no gap between training and inference-- train at the edge, learn all the time.
With our framework we increase training efficiency and also combine the static pre-trained intelligence from LLMs with continuous training to learn local contexts. AI progress is bottlenecked by backpropagation, which necessitates labelled data to set the ground truth while also leaving a gap between training and inference that result in increasingly larger, more homogenizing models.
We are hiring for applied researchers & various engineering roles– please reach out to ali@aolabs.ai

Tired of trying to beat kube into shape? Does writing YAML to ship code fill you with utter dread? Dream of a future where deploying software is simple, and you don't need an army of infrastructure engineers to build that perfect janky bash script™ to make life easy?
We're Railway, and we think infrastructure can be better. So far we've built out a platform loved by hundreds of thousands of users who simply tell us "Give me Postgres", "Deploy this repo", and we make it happen
Fair warning! The problems are complex: home-rolled hypervisors, cut-above container orchestration, over/under/whateverlay networks, virtio device drivers, edge proxies, IAM that doesn't suck, kitchen sinks - we need to build it and we're looking for likeminded individuals who think this stuff is fun.

We provide isolated runtimes for executing untrusted code, mostly generated by LLMs. Our sandboxing is powered by a combination of WebAssembly, V8, and microVMs. Our customers do things like extract data from log lines at run time by asking claude-3-7-sonnet to generate a parsing function on-the-fly and then sending it to us for execution.
Things we need help with:
- Our API (https://docs.riza.io/) (Postgres / Go)
- Our account dashboard (Postgres / Go / React / TypeScript)
- Our code execution engine (Go / Rust)
- New products including code generation workflows (Anthropic / OpenAI experience a plus)
We’ve raised seed money, but the whole company is currently just me, Andrew and David working out of a converted warehouse on Alabama St. We’re second-time founders, so we know the risk we’re asking you to take and we’re prepared to compensate accordingly.

Sourcegraph is how enterprises industrialize software development with AI. We accelerate and automate how software is built in the world's most important companies, including 7/10 top software companies by market cap and 4/6 top US banks.
Every successful codebase becomes large and complex. Instead of improving the product, devs spend more of their time just understanding the code and doing low-level tasks. The solution is to accelerate humans doing what they're best at--and to automate the rest with AI agents, meaning more creativity and less toil for devs.
